We celebrated our wedding at hotel Pulitzer, and the hotel staff were so nice and helpful! We had a perfect event at the hotel, with cocktail party on the beautiful roof terrace, and dinner in the restaurant. We can absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place for your event in Barcelona. The hotel is located very central, near the placa catalunya, where also the airport-bus stops. Rooms are big and comfortable, nicely furnished. Clean and tidy. Bathtub and different amenties in the room. Good breakfast, that could be enjoyed in the restaurant or the connecting outdoor patio. Lunch menu is also very tasteful. We chose to stay at this hotel because of the roof terrace, and it really is beautiful, with lots of flowers and candles. Background music and often live music events on the terrace. Lovely people working at the hotel, wery nice and helpful! We will definately stay at Pulitzer on our next trip to Barcelona!

Stayed here in the month of April with my few friends and would love to return again. Location is awesome, rooms are gorgeous and food was mind blowing. In short my experience was great and I just loved this wonderful property. Highly recommended!

The Pulitzer Barcelona is on a quiet street just steps from the bustling Plaza Catalunya, near the best shopping and night life Barcelona has to offer. It is a phenomenal location to see and enjoy the city, within walking distance of Gaudi's Casa Milà and Casa Batlló, and a couple minutes from La Rambla, the big walking boulevard and market that goes from P. Catalunya to Port Vell, Barcelona Beach, and some of the top rated Paella restaurants. La Rambla takes about 30 minutes to walk. The Hotel also has a great rooftop patio-lounge that serves up good cocktails including a phenomenal Mojito, and music with a great beat. The hotel staff are true service professionals, and we had fun just chatting with them on the rooftop patio, they're a great bunch.

A few blemishes: The street outside the Hotel can be a bit smelly due to the garbage bins and ample night life, and the bottle recycling bin was an unpleasant early-morning noise. Our room had a few scuff marks that a touch of paint would have erased. We requested 2 beds, and ended up with two singles pushed together for what was realistically just one bed. Okay for couples that sleep differently, but not okay for friends. The last blemish was that the room was on the small side. These last two points about the beds and room size are why this is, otherwise, not a 5-star review, but the less you spend in the room, the less this will be an issue, and Barcelona is a city that will make you stay out late and not want to sleep.

The Hotel Pulitzer is, put simply, a great hotel in a great location that I liked and will return to.

The thing that stands out for me at this hotel was the Reception & Concierge Staff. Would have to go a long way to match this level of Service! From the moment we enquired about availability of 6 rooms to our leaving, they were simply superb! We arrived, blocking the quiet street outside with 6 Supercars, and the the saff were on hand to help, check in, sort private secure parking, sorted the Barcelona Police, (who simply stopped us all to have a look at the cars). Even locking away our luggage and assisting to reload cars 8 hours after checking out. Amazing Service indeed. The rooms were "boutique" but lovely, the Tearrace bar, busy and service a little slow, but what a spot to take in and so good for every point of interest in Barcelona. I will be back!

Room Tip: All seem to be the same, so good hunting!

This is a modern and fashionable hotel in a great location, just off Placa Catalonlya, and near to La Ramblas and walking distance to lots of shops. The hotel has a boutique feel, a small number of rooms, and being boutique the rooms are small-ish but with a nice sized bathroom. Breakfast can be eaten outside in a small courtyard, and drinks in a large informal living area.

What sets a superb boutique hotel apart from others is the service. It is a shame that the service at the Hotel Pulitzer is rather a let down- there is no doorman, no porter, & specifically the front desk service was hit-and-miss. We had just one good suggestion for dinner but then terrible advice for a flamenco show (which he assured us was real and turned out to be a total tourist rip off), poor arrangements for a tour to La Sagrada Familia, poor directions to the beach, and atrocious service on checking out.
Nice hotel in good location. Not sure we would go back, as the service was not up to scratch.

Just off one of the main squares, Placa Catalunya, yet on a surprisingly quiet one way street. Stunning roof terrace for early evening drinks and tapas....or a bit of quiet time with a book during the day! Breakfast can be eaten in a small courtyard garden. A large bar lounge dominates the ground floor...and great space even when busy. We stayed with some friends - the wife who is an Interior Designer, loved the whole décor. Friendly and helpful staff behind the Receptions...supplied excellent recommendations for 2 lunch venues and one dinner! You will not be able to sleep in for long [after 8.30am!] as the cleaners are not the quietest...but hey, we are not in Barcelona to sleep!

Room Tip: Don't be fooled by the line ' your room has a balcony'...it's an exterior shelf with...
