“Nice but....”
Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

We stood in the queue on Saturday which was quite long. We then noticed a sign saying entrance free on first Sunday of every month so we returned the next day and saved ourselves ?24. We arrived at 11 got our tickets and were told to come back at 3. House is lovely and rooftop v unusual. However there is no furniture in the house which I found to be disappointing. I wouldnt have been happy if I had paid ?12 and queued for hours

“See what the early Gaudi was up to, pre-Casa Batllo”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

We ended up waiting till the very last tour of the day, at 6:45, and strolled over to the nearby Placa Reial for an aperatif to wait for our admission. Much better than standing in a long line earlier in the day. (downside is that the rooftop is most spectacular in late afternoon sun).

An architectural treasure. Lots and lots of stairs, but they will allow the disabled and aged to use the little original lift.

“Overrated a bit”
Reviewed May 9, 2013 via mobile

The place is not too big. You can finish seeing it in an hour. But if you want to take pictures, you can spend half a day there. The admission is pretty high. Perhaps it is worth to spend it on food instead.

“Worth a visit on a wet day”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Not as good as Casa Battlo but enjoyable. Not a good idea if you can't climb stairs. Discount for over 65s. There are 2 queues - one for tickets and one for entrance. The queues start even before it opens.

“This park is beautifull”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

A rare and beautiful park.
Has a gorgeous fountain!
A free place to rest. And it's not far from the chocolate museum and the arc du triumph
Highly recommended.
