“Blink and you'll miss it...”

Just off the main Rambla, this building is pretty unassuming mid terrace on a narrow street from the outside, but a complete marvel inside! They have an express audioguide for children and the audioguide is included in the entrance price.

“It's alright”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

I was kind of disappointed by the experience especially after seeing Guadi's Casa Batllo. The design is very dark and lifeless. An insane amount of detail went into the wood work and reconstruction but you can tell from the corresponding exhibit that it's not genuine. I think it would be better if the rooms hadn't been modified so much and there was more furniture to give a sense life in the palace. Guadi's designs are amazing but need context. The audio guides are helpful but slow and hard to follow.

“Outstanding Gaudi experience!”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

A must to visit, but not before seeing La Segrada Familia and Casa Batlo! Also good value, including the comprehensive audio guide.

“Awesome”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Amazing and really good value compared to La Pedera, The free audio guide was interesting and you could take your time wandering around the rooms soaking up all the incredible features, you end up on the roof with the chimneys, you have to see it to believe it , superb

“Palau Guell by Antoni Gaudi - must see”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

I was impressed by Palau Guell. it's really beautiful place where you can see Gaudi's artistry. Walking is very interesting because the ticket includes the audio guide (languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese).
"During the visit, we can discover the renewed concept of space and the manipulation of light, as well as the orginality and wealth of the constructive and ornamental solutions, the product of both the creative genius of Gaudi as well as the craftsmanship and skill of his collaborators (artists, industrialists, craftspeople) in the use of wrought iron, ceramics, glass, stone and wood that set this unique work apart. " - it's all true :) Enjoy!
