Good location and away from the more touristy options along the Ramblas. Concierge, and we visited them twice wasn't of much help. Though the rooms had all the amenities and fittings, it was a little on the small side but then again, this is a city hotel. We didn't manage to use too much of the services as during our 3 nights, we spent most of it in the city. In the end, believe we could have spent the same amount of money and stayed somewhere with similar pricing but larger and would have enjoyed the city just as much.

The Hotel Omm is a magical destination of 21st century design and modernity, neighborhood community center and music speak easy. It's Michelin rated Moo Restaurant may get the headlines but everything about our 5 night stay at the Omm was top shelf. Having been to Barcelona on multiple occasions and reading some of the reviews I was a bit nervous about the room size. The 'basic' room option was generous in terms of size. The design of the room with its HD projector TV, panel of buttons for room controls, closet space and shower were all well thought through. (The only poor design is the wash basin's location and distance from the toilet closet). The staff was very accommodating and generous. Requests by some in our party to shift rooms during 'disco weekend' were gracious and quickly responded to. Breakfast and coffee, happy hour drinks, and of course meals were all very very good. The location of Omm is, in my view, among its biggest pluses. It is located in the heart of the late 19th and early 20th century modernist district. Not only a stone's throw away from Gaudi master piece architecture but equally intriguing neighborhood designers, urban landscaping and the like. The Omm is less than 30 min walk to the Catherdal and Bron districts on the south side of the city. It is easily serviced by both public transportation and of course taxis and the like. The staff also made multiple excellent recommendations for dinner spots in the neighborhood. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, Catalan folks singers, poets brought locals in off the street. Later in the evening, starting around 11:30 over the weekend, Omm transormed into a very very hip destination with security guards, techno-beat music, and over flowing bar scene. We would return in a heart beat

Room Tip: If you are at the Omm on Friday or Saturday night, ask to have your room assignment on the upper flo...

Stayed here a few years back when it first opened. At the time, rates were lower, rooms were new and service was cold. Fast forward to 2013, rates are higher, rooms are the same and should get a little update (just my opinion... perhaps I´ve been spoilt by the other newer design hotels) and service is still as cold as before. Apart from that, I have to say that the restaurant Moo is still as outstanding as before. Ate there on my previous visit and was delighted by the experience. Fast forward to 2013, it´s even better than before. Those Roca bros rock! I´d give the restaurant 5 stars!

Nice hotel, great location, large rooms, strange bathroom layout(the commode is separated from the shower and sink by the bedroom), nifty light controls, a charming balcony all make it a good hotel and reasonably priced with the best hotel wi fi I have ever had. What makes it a great hotel is the incredible service. Everyone, and I mean everyone goes out of their way to help or charm you. No attitude other then plain haerd working and great care of the guests. Particular kudos to the front desk including Andrea who with his colleagues was both knowledgable and of course incredibly helpful. Loved Barcelona and loved this little gem.
What would I change? A better rate for the breakfast which looked wonderful but was a bit pricey at 20 or 25 euros.

Room Tip: If you want to economize, we found a nice little tapas place across the street with an adequate if u...

From checking in to checking out I have nothing bad to say. Lovely room, LOVED the rooftop bar and pool, really cool and a great place to hang out between meals/sightseeing. Treated very well at all times, and good recommendations from the concierge. We were a bit underwhelmed by the Moo restaurant but I wrote a separate review so for the hotel, like Homer Simpson I give it 9 thumbs up!

The staff are efficient and helpful....I was overcharged but by the time I collected my luggage they had reimbursed me...I hadn't noticed they had.

This was my first visit to Barcelona and this amazing hotel. The service was exceptional with polite and friendly staff. Modern, and clean interior. Great rooftop pool with bar serving cocktails and seafood- not to mention the Michelin star restaurant on the ground floor which was superb. The inclusive breakfast was also great with a good choice.
The hotel is in the most amazing location, in an upmarket area of the city close to many designer stores, restaurants and bars. We were given great restaurant recommendations by the hotel which were nearby and organised for us.
I would come back to this hotel time and time again.

Room Tip: some of the rooms do not have outside windows, we opted for a slightly more expensive room with larg...
