We were in Barcelona for my Pilates conference and for our romantic holiday. I found a lot of good review there so we decided to stay there for 5 nights straight. It was in early November 2012 so the weather was cold. We arrived early in the morning and the hotel sent a Mercedes to pick us up (of course we paid for that). The driver, Carlos was nice, tried to speak in 'broken' English when I tried my best broken 'Spanish'. We arrived at the hotel and sent immediately to our room (we booked the room one day before). The room was big (for European standard), clean, the bed was nice. The bathroom was clean and separated from the toilet and the bidet ( the best part so one more star for the cleanliness). The location was perfect, only a block away from La Pedrera and 4 blocks from Casa Battlo. The bar around the corner, Nello's Bar is a highlight for us. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The restaurant, Samoa, across the road also delicious.
We tried to hang out at the bar and restaurant at the hotel but it's a hardwork. The food and drink was delicious but it's kinda hard to get to their attention. But the rest of the staffs is a 'two thumbs up'. Oh, if you want to go for a city tour, it just across the road. Also the big fashion names shop along the way. We would like to come back again and stay at that's hotel.

Room Tip: Ask the reception to put you in the room that far from the street. It's nice and quiet.

I liked everything about this hotel. The people at the front deak were very kind and helpful, my room was very clean&quiet not to mention quite spacious by European standards! Ithe rooftop bar was great - make sure you try Hendrick's served in a large bowl!

My husband and I just returned from a five night stay at Barcelona's Hotel Omm. Everything about the hotel, with the exception of the so-called "fitness center," was first rate. Starting from check-in until the moment we left, the front desk staff was exceptional and knowledgeable. They helped us prioritize our list of activities. They sent us to memorable non-touristy restaurants that were exactly what we wanted. They arranged our transportation to the airport. Although all of the staff was helpful, accommodating and pleasant, in particular, Andreas was a gem.

The room was modern and sleek, the bed comfortable, the space ample. The small table and chairs were useful. Wifi was consistent. There was even a small balcony. The only thing missing from the room was in-room coffee service - a much needed addition. I have to agree with the one reviewer who was baffled by the fact that the sink and toilet area were separate, but really - what's the difference? So, you walk to the sink. The privacy afforded by the separate areas was actually very nice. People have commented on the darkness of the hallways. They are dark, but you can see and it is environmentally and economically sound to minimize the use of electricity; this was not a problem for us at all.

Each night before dinner, we sat in the large lobby bar people watching. The bar attracts all types, local and tourists and the service was good.

As mentioned above, the fitness center left something to be desired. It consists of only a treadmill, bike and pilates equipment, along with some free weights. If didn't open until 9 and stayed open only until 6, but if you ask at the front desk, they will open the gym at any time for you. My suggestion is just to walk all day long in Barcelona, so that you won't need or miss the gym.

Finally, the hotel is situated in a perfect location. The stores and restaurants nearby are the best in the city. You can walk to every destination in a reasonable amount of time. With the exception of coming and going from the airport, we never needed to take a taxi, bus or metro, but could walk everywhere without any problem.

I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It is a very modern building, with a beautiful lobby where you can have good food. The rooms are very small we got an upgrade to a junior suite, do not even want to know what a normal room looks like. Room was very noisy had something to do with the hamman. Very standard and cold designed room. Nice staff in the lobby and the reception.

If you are fed up of the stuffy traditional hotel chains that are just "as expected", this is a hotel for you. Here, you are more than a room number, you are a guest, and treated as one by all.
The first impression is created by the thoughtful friendly staff on arrival. Then the interior design of the property takes over by giving you a hearty serving of cool concepts to take in.
The location is also great, right on a main Barcelona street, and 10 min walk to lots of sites worth visiting.

Room Tip: Book a suit, high floor, check if the have front facing rooms.
