My husband chose this hotel for our honeymoon after reading the reviews from tripadvisor. Tripadvisor was great and we were very satisfied! They have very friendly and helpful staff, very good view from the hotel room and a very good location as it is very near to Sants station. Our room was huge and the bathroom as well. They were very nice to gave us a complimentary champagne to celebrate our honeymoon. We really appreciate what they did for us and we would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. If we were to return to Barcelona, it will be our first choice hotel! (A little con to this was the free wifi is only available at selected places such as restaurant and lobby)

I stayed for 4 nights last summer and although the hotel is very modern and nice it was a nightmare with a music festival being held next door in a park.

They claimed that there was a notice on their website but I found nothing. The music is LOUD and goes until late hours especially on the last night (went till 5am)

they kept offering me different rooms but literally every room of the building regardless of where in the building was noisy as hell.

Stay far away from this area during the concert week unless you plan on staying out until late as well.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while vacationing in Barcelona. The hotel is clean and comfortable with excellent service. The rooms are spacious. Their scrumptious buffet breakfast each morning at the Visual restaurant on the top floor overlooking Barcelona was an incredible way to start each day. We really liked the convenience of the Sants train/metro station being only steps away. Easy walk to many parks, including Montjuic. I also used the fitness room several times and the spa--very nice! The WiFi wasn't free and this is the only thing I had wished was different.

It's right outside the Sants Estacio (main railway station). This station has a train that takes you to the airport. It's also walking distance to Catalan Art museum and MontJuic where they have the olympic stadium. It's not close to the Gaudi places or Las Ramblas but there's a metro stop right outside the hotel so you can take a metro to all of the other places in Barcelona.

The hotel is quite nice and fancy. The rooms are average. The TV is old school and the reception is quite poor. I'd like to think that the hotel of this class should have flat screens and satellite reception. They give wi-fi free only for 15 mins and if you wanna use their computer in the business center, its only free for 5 mins. Breakfast is quite expensive so I'd skip it.

Rooms are decent size (quite big by euro standards). Bathroom is nice and big. The customer service is excellent. We arrived in our room with a big bottle of complimentary champagne waiting for us since they knew we were coming for our honeymoon which was nice of them.

Over all, a pretty good hotel for a decent price.

You get off the train from the airport and the last stop, Sants station (also known as Barcs Sants), and walk out the front door of the station and this towering hotel is right in front of you. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, advising us on good places to eat locally and in the city centre. It is too far to walk comfortably to the Ramblas but the Metro runs two lines from Sants Station (a ticket for ten journeys costs just 7.50 euros) and there is a short line of taxis outside the hotel. The room, at the standard rate and therefore on one of the first six floors, was comfortable and clean. There is a bright atmosphere throughout the hotel and a nice bar. A buffet breakfast on the very top floor has just about anything you might wish to eat. For 145 euros on average per night (including breakfast and taxes) for the two of us this seemed like good value for Barcelona. Staying in or around the Ramblas can be noisy and expensive. A nearby restaurant, the Martello, is good for food but a little more pricey than you might expect.

What a lovely surprise to find after arriving at Barcelona Sants train station on the AVE from Madrid that the hotel was a few metres away. This was also useful for the train to the airport and for the subway. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant and the rooms modern, spacious, clean and quiet. We particularly liked the beautiful bathroom with double basins, bath and separate shower. The breakfasts were possibly the best I've ever had. And they are served at the top of the hotel which has breathtaking views across the entire city. The lounge in the lobby was elegant and served good food. Definitely recommended.
