For football fans, a visit to one of the greatest stadiums in the world is too much to miss when in Barcelona. We arrived at around 2pm, probably a good time of the day on a Sunday as it wasn't too busy at all. We spent some time looking at the trophies before moving on to see the pitch, away team changing room, plus good views of the stadium from several parts of the stand (including the press box).
Typical bad luck as the dugout was closed the day we visited, so we didn't get to be pitchside. Had we known, we would have returned at a later date in the holiday, but they decided not to inform visitors of this until after we had passed the entry. A shame that they couldn't conduct their business in a more professional manner.
We prebooked tickets online and collected from an ATM in the city centre, a good way of avoiding the queue. More
