Should not be called a hotel but a hostel. Dirty, awfully damp, and has not been renovated. If it would have been priced as a hostel ok, you know what you are getting but this is supposed to be a hotel and has no standard whatsoever. Ok, the water that came out of the shower eventually got hot. The shower has a dirty old curtain, there is no insolation and you hear everything from everybody around you. But, I think the dampness was the worst, never new, I could have curly hair, and the prices... ridiculously high considering the bad standard

So I have to write this after another ridiculous email from the hotel. We stayed for one night before the Mediterranean cruise, and the room was small and dirty even for one night. The staff was rude, and none of them speaks English, but that was not a big deal. The interesting part started few days after check out when we were already on the cruise boat, and we received an email from the hotel that we stolen two pillows from our room and we have to give our credit card details to pay 100 Euro or they call the police.
We had only small hand luggage where we barely fit our personal stuff. The room was quite small so we put the decorative pillows to the wardrobe to save space. Unfortunately, they do not clean the room properly and even do not look to the wardrobe. Luckily we booked the hotel via travel agency and the hotel did have our credit card details. So after numerous explanations to the travel agent, the hotel probably found the pillows. We also complained to their customer service support and we received almost a year later a rude answer that they don't believe us and they clean their rooms properly. But you can also see other reviews that rooms are dirty.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel and book via credit card. There are tons of other places to stay.

My wife and I had room 106, it was the worst hotel experience we have ever encounted anywhere. Every noise - toilets flushing, showers running, people beink sick often throughout the night meant we got very little sleep which seriously ruined our short vacation. The walls are paper thin often felt like these noises were in our room. The bathroom was also very small and I learnt how to be a contortionist just to sit on the loo!
The grouting to the side of the sink and behind the mini bath was very grubby.

Room tip: our room overlooked the road at front of hotel

VERY BASIC -
close to Hospital San Pau and Sagrada Familia and subway... BUT
the curtains were falling apart, the phone didnt work, the remote control didnt work, the bathroom lacked basic things like a toilet paper holder or a place to put your soap or shampoo in the shower - also the shower dor was very narrow! a bigger person would not fit in! the WIFI didnt work, the blankets were FILTHY! I have pictures! and it the price was the same as better hotels in the area so... I would not recommend this hotel

Room tip: check it before you commit to it...

Hotel was very clean and within walking distance to everything, the front desk was VERY helpful and spoke English very well and they were very helpful. However, two issues, one the air conditioning didn't work very well and the noise outside the hotel was very loud. Could not sleep at night!

Room tip: Perfect location and rooms are very clean.
