I spent there, the most incredible week of my life, it's close to everything. Strongly recommend this hotel.
The rooms are really nice and proper, it's very private and intimate. There's a bar right next to the hotel, which makes it great for a bar hopping. I can't complain. Only thing I would say is; go with someone. I had such a wonderful time, hotel is great but you can enjoy all that it has to offer if you spend it with your couple, or friends.

Great hotel very well located to walk around the old region of Barcelona city. Close to the marina area, transport and "Hop on Hop off" bus route. Fourth floor room at the front was very quiet with double glazed double doors. Sensational breakfast with huge selection of fresh foods, cold and hot buffet. Eggs cooked to order. The roof top pool and bar area was very appealing. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Fourth floor front of building has views toward the marina but limited by street tree tops. Fifth fl...

My family and I only had 1 night/2 days at this hotel and so wished we had more and are planning on going back soon. It is a small, intimate hotel with a lovely feel. The location is amazing, right over looking the marina/port across from the W Hotel, beach and Aquarium. We had a family room which was huge, very comfy with 2 bathrooms, it over looked the tiny street at the back with a 'Juliette' balcony. The roof terrace was amazing, the views were beautiful and it had such a lovely relaxing feel. The side with the plunge pool was my kids favourite they loved it there, the comfy sunbeds everything was just perfect! The bar service was great and it was so nice to chill in the evening with a cocktail and amazing view. Its an escape from the bustling Barcelona. Stay here if you go to Barca, whether you are a couple, family, group or single traveller you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: We had a "Family Room" which had no view but was so large and comfy and perfect for us so...

We booked this super hotel via a low cost website and were pleasantly surprised. It was beautifully furnished with mixes of old and new furnishings, including fascinating old photos. We were greeted on arrival with sparkling wine and although we arrived before 2 the room was ready for us. Being on a very busy road we were worried about noise but the room (114) was so quiet, we could have been in the countryside. Facilities in the room were excellent, and while we were staying our air-con was fixed (it was too noisy, apparently). Breakfast was filling with loads of choice, and even better when you got the hang of the coffee machine!! The roof top bar, though expensive, was worth it as it was a great place to people watch on the sea front below. The plunge pool felt in need of a good filter but the shower was refreshing if you wanted to sunbathe on the roof. Staff were great, nothing too much trouble and the best part was that we could keep the room until 2pm (for a small charge). Close to bars and restaurants of the city centre, plus the sea front and the marina - ideal. We hope to return as we didn't see everything in the 3 days we were there.

Room Tip: Ask for in internal room, one looking onto the inner quad, so you don't get the noise of the tra...

Just returned from a 3 night stay here. My first time at this hotel. Its a beautiful hotel. Room was lovely, with complimentary dressing gown and slippers. Toiletries that were supplied were a generous size too. In an ideal location for the Port and also the Bus Turistic, just outside the hotel and to the right. The staff in this hotel were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and really helpful too.
The rooftop is small, so just nice to cool off, no swimming! The cocktails are 10 euros, but very nice, there is a bar outside the hotel that serves them for 5 euros, but not as nice a setting as up on the roof terrace!

Breakfast was really nice, you are asked what type of eggs you would like and they are served fresh. A good choice.

A good place to go for a meal is Port Vell restaurant in Barconeletta - a few minutes from the hotel. For 18 euro's you can get a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine - lovely food in a traditional type restaurant.

Bus Turistic is worth the money too, it takes you all around the city and you can hop on and off as many times as you like. A good way to see the sights.

Charming, friendly, helpful, and wonderful location. We were three females, traveling together, first trip to Barcelona, and we had a great pre-cruise experience here. We stayed three nights, and liked it so much that we tried to change our post-cruise stay to this same hotel, but they were, unfortunately, booked. When I called to request a triple room for three females, they gave us a suite, large room with sitting area, very comfortable third bed, and, most importantly, TWO FULL baths, which were both fully equipped with tubs and showers. The breakfasts were very good; the bar atop the roof was cool and breezy even in Barcelona's hot August. Although drinks were somewhat pricey, they were mixed to order, and the service, like all the service here, was prompt, very friendly, and an obvious desire to please. The location is excellent for a first time trip, steps away from the "on-off" tourist bus, the waterfront, Las Ramblas, Gothic area, Born area, and tons of restaurants.

Room Tip: Good for triples

Fantastic hotel,location,quality both great,breakfast had everything,including bacon@eggs.
Only downside the bar in the roof a bit expensive,€7 a pint,€10 a cocktail. We payed for most drinks as we got them but still ended up with a bill for all we had drank when leaving the bar, this was addressed at the time and sorted out, happened again next day but we were ready and informed reception, again sorted out ok,genuine mistake?,hope so,just keep your whits about you up there.Did not spoil a brilliant weekend, would recommend to anyone going to Barcelona.
