Ideally located near to Las Ramblas. Not far from the beach and the port. Close to Metro station. Very clean hotel. Rooms not spacious but adequate. good sized flat screen tv, minibar. Plenty of storage space for clothes. Bathroom a good size. Staff efficient. Good breakfast, but sometimes have to wait for a table at busy times. Roof terrace handy for a relax with a view. Nice for a coffee or a cocktail.
I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose a high floor to avoid vibration of the underground Metro

We would both 100% recommend H10 Montcada in Barcelona. Our trip was to celebrate my wife's birthday and I pre-requested a room with a view - this was done with a room on the 8th floor looking towards the cathedral. The terrific rooftop bar catches the sun until it disappears and the private jacuzzi & massage package is a must - it was superb! Ok, the rooms are small (everyone says this), but they are comfortable and well equiped. Besides, the cheery staff and excellent breakfasts more than make up. Only downside was being pick-pocketed on the way in from the airport when we arrived (beware and be vigilant!) but would we return to this hotel - yes, absolutely.

The Hotel looks good from the outside and has a stylish lobby and reception area, with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was a good size for a large City, with nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. Although on a main road, the double glazed windows provide good noise reduction. The Hotel is nearly opposite the Cathedral and is round the corner from the popular Picasso museum, both of which are a couple of minutes walk away. It takes ten minutes to walk to the bottom of La Rambla, and also to Port Vell. There is also a Metro stop opposite the Hotel. There is free WI-FI available throughout the hotel, with the addition of free computers with internet access and a printer in the lobby. The best feature of the Hotel is its rooftop terrace with bar and chill out areas which provide a tranquil oasis in which to sip cocktails after a busy day sightseeing. The breakfast room is rather disappointing, although the choice of food and drinks is good. I will definitely visit this Hotel again if I return to Barcelona

My husband and I booked this Hotel for my 40th birthday in Feb 2010. We booked the 'wellbeing' deal that included a huge corner room, massage and Jacuzzi on the roof with champagne and fruit. When we checked in the staff were very friendly and helpful Simone was very attentive and knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble. On arriving in our gorgeous room chocolates, robes and slippers were laid out and the minibar fully stocked. The room was very clean and beautifully presented (I took photos and will upload) Barcelona is an incredible city the sites were fantastic as was the food, wine and beer. A definite restaurant to visit is the Mayura (Indian restaurant) it was truly an experience. The food was outstanding and they accommodated our vegetarian friends with an extensive range of delicacies. We used the tour bus for 2 days and well worth the price. You can hop on and hop off at your chosen stops. Barcelona one of the best city breaks ever.

Room Tip: Wellbeing corner suite

This hotel did not disappoint on any level. The staff were fantastic particularly on reception. We had a lot of touristy questions and they were friendly and extremely helpful with all our queries. The location is excellent, near the gothic quarter, metro, shops and restaurants. The rooms were spotless and beds were really comfortable. Despite being on a busy street we found it relatively quiet. We had 3 rooms in different locations. The rooftop bar is small but is nice on a sunny evening. We did not use the jacuzzi as we were too busy sightseeing. There is a charge for its use and we thought it sounded a little expensive but worth checking out. I would return to this hotel!p s the breakfast was fantastic except for the coffee!

Room Tip: Ask for one, we had no problem

Located in the heart of Barcelona City Center area. 3mins walk to Ramla Shopping & Walking street. This hotel has an excellent location in the center of all there is to do in Barcelona. I paid Euros: 80/- for this superb hotel and will definitely stay here again if in Barcelona. The Hop On/Off bus passes by the hotel and the stop is 100mts away. I bought my tickets for the same rates from the hotel lobby. Room & Toilet are clean and big enough considering european standards. Reception staff was very helpful and explained everything and everywhere we wanted to go. Wonderful glass of Champagne offered on arrival. Apples at the reception/lobby to take with you when you head out in the morning sight-seeing. I stayed for 3 days and will definitely return again to this hotel for all the good reasons.

Room Tip: Stay on a higher floor to avoid the traffic and tourist noise of the street...
