The Oxford Street of Barcelona! Some fabulous shops and delightful restaurants with some amazing architecture. Visit in the evening to see the Gaudi influence illuminated.

We always take a stroll up and down the Passeig de Gracia whenever we go to Barcelona. Everything about it is attractive and classy. Girls, the shops are to die for! Can't afford the prices? Doesn't matter a jot really -- it's fun to just window shop and gaze wide-eyed. There are the Gaudi buildings, magnificent hotels and great pavement cafes. It's fabulous! And even my husband thinks it great -- so, you see, its not just for the girls!!

Lots of tapas spots, restaurant and unique shops. If the weather is good, it's an ideal avenue to stroll, sip and nibble.

Really can't get enough of this man, first thing I did when I got home was to buy and read an autobioraphy. Truly a genius and his works, very varied from the walkways at Park Gruell to the statues at Sagrada Familia nand then the houses around the Passeig de Gracia amazing!

Loved the opera house tour. Great to see behind the scenes and the beautiful rooms. Had a cake and coffee in the famous Opera Cafe opposite and a stroll in the fabulous market. Great shops. Lovely flower sellers. What's not to love?
