Owner description: Major thoroughfare in Barcelona that is lined with shops, restaurants, bars and some of Gaudí's architectural masterpieces.

Now this feels like 5th Ave in New York or Champ E'Lysees although it might not be as high end. There are tons of shops, restaurants, cafes and Gaudi-designed houses such as Casa Batllo on this major street. You should go up and down just to do some shopping and admire their architecture.

Reviewing this street only because our hostel (Equity Point, which I highly recommend) was on Passeig de Gracia. I would equate it to Fifth Avenue in NYC, the street is filled with designer stores along with high street ones as well, like Zara and H&M. Casa Batllo is also on this street, which I recommend visiting!

This is just like 5th Avenue with one building designed by Gaudi and another right next to it designed by another architect of Gaudi's time. It was meant to be a competition of who had a better design. Other then that, if you have the money you can shop there or at least window shop like we did.

best street in barcelona... you can find everything you need (hotels, shops, restaurants, boutiques, site seeing)
most of boutiques located in Passeig de gracia like LV, YSL, Prada, Bottega, Armani herms and many many more
you can also find great hotels like Mandarin, suites avenue, majestic and omm hotels.

This is average, unless you love high end brands, and I don't really. It had nice architecture along the way, but so do most streets in Barcelona. I only walked in this area on the way to somewhere else, so maybe its just not for me.
