“Old and interesting”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

Part of the old city but slightly more upmarket than the Gothic area. Haven't really explored it totally yet but like what I have seen. (especially Aire de Barcelona arabic baths).

“SoHo in Barcelona”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

Coming from NYC, El Born felt very much like SoHo with its winding streets, stylish boutiques and wide selection of hot dining spots. Streets can be crowded and you have to seek out the unique Barcelona shops from the global chains and tourist traps. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

“A great place to explore”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

We went here for Tapas, at night the place is buzzing, and the narrow alley ways make for a very romantic setting. The Picasso Museum is based here too, but is closed on Mondays!
