“Amazing hotel great value for money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

Very pleased with the hotel on our arrival felt very safe, secure & welcoming! Lovely staff with good information & answered all our questions. Great location with a metro close by and walkable to las ramblas & centre of the city.

Room was perfect very modern and spacious, shower was amazing the best I have ever used! Slight let down that the room didn't have a fridge or mini bar. But did have vending machines in reception.

The rooftop views and infinity pool were a hidden gem and I'm sure it's a good swim in summer months!

Will definitely visit again & highly recommend.

I just returned from a week in this hotel. Had a triple room for the first 4 nights and then moved to a standard double. Though it is a 3 star hotel, it is far better than a 4 star. I didn't avail of the breakfast option as there are plenty of places around the hotel to eat, and much cheaper. But the triple room was really spacious, spotless and modern. Everything seemed new and very white. That it was a green hotel was a bonus. The front desk was very receptive and friendly. The location was really good. The shower was so very good! Far away from the madding crowd that one could sleep comfortably and yet a short walk away from the main drag of Las Ramblas and one block from the metro Drassanes. The view from the rooftop is FANTASTIC! I really enjoyed my stay here and had no complaints. Highly recommend. If you like Indian food, there is a restaurant next door that has the best Indian food I have had in Europe, albeit a little greasy and the decor leaves much to be desired. But I ate Spanish by day and Bollywood by night. Was sublime and spicy! Taxi to the hotel from the international terminal cost me 31 Euros and about 20 mins to reach.

Room Tip: The triple room was super spacious. We had tons of suitcases and we were able to put them all away...

Modern clean hotel with very pleasant staff. Reception area is cosy and welcoming, rooms are very smart and modern, slightly small with no view but didn't spoil our experience. We went as 2 couples on a 40th trip, close to las rambles and the Irish bars. Never ate breakfast there but bobbed our heads in and it looked appealing.

Location was not bad, but a little closer to the main thoroughfare might have been better. The view from the bedroom was onto concrete down market flats rather than the historic or characterful parts of Barcelona we had come to see. There were no dining facilities other than breakfast. This was fine as we wanted to eat out. The bedrooms were basic - not roomy but clean and practical rather than cosy. I managed to jam a thumb in the sliding wardrobe doors which were a bit on the jerky side. The staff on reception were very helpful, with plug adaptors to borrow, maps and advice on how to use the underground and bus. The purpose of the trip was to see Barcelona, not to stay in a hotel, and as such it suited us. I would probably like to try another hotel rather than return, just to compare.
There was a supermarket on the corner of the street opposite the front of the hotel where we bought bottled water. I have no idea how they made up their charges but the next time we needed bottled water we used a supermarket further afield and it was a third of the price. I suspect we were ripped off!!

Room Tip: This is purpose built, - the rooms on the floor plan seemed pretty much alike. I faced the back of...

The hotel is right next to the ramblas ignore what others say about it being rough.. We felt very safe even at night ... The staff were lovely and extremely helpful and the view from the roof was b-e-a utiful I would highly recommend!
If the price remained the same (or cheaper...I hope!!!) we would definitely return.

Staff: Very professional, helpful, polite and nice and special thanks for the trainee girl

Sleep Quality: very quiet (my room was in the 8th floor) but the beds and pillows not comfortable

Cleanliness: VERY CLEAN

Location: Perfect in the heart of Barcelona….very close to la Rambla just 3 minutes’ walk, and 300 M to the metro station.

Rooms: My room for triple persons not big enough but I see it suitable and cozy

Value for money: comparing to the prices of the other hotels in the same area with the same criteria I think it’s not bad

Most probably will come back :))
Thanks

Room Tip: *Higher floor to avoid any noise *Buy tickets for any attraction point from the hotel as they will...

Don't get me wrong this a great hotel but our stay was marred by noisy neighbours. We stayed on the second floor where the hotel is directly connected to a neighbouring apartment where the residents played computer games at high volume until the early hours. As we were just staying for one night we didn't complain until the morning but there was very little the hotel could have done except move us and we couldn't be bothered with that.

Otherwise the hotel is well located only 5 mins from the las Ramblas and the port area with plenty of good eating nearby (try Dominoes Bar)

the rooms are clean and spacious with nice facilities (no tea and coffee) and the breakfast is one of the best I've found in Spain. The infinity pool on the roof is a must see even if you don't swim in it and the courtyard is a nice quiet space.

Room Tip: get a high floor away from the neighbours
