“Great place to go with the kids, by the sea!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

This excellent museum is close to the Port, in the old Drassanes building. It tells the visitor about Catalunya (not Spain, just Catalunya) and includes interactive attractions for the kiddies. Its a great place to visit when its really hot with the air conditioning and also when it rains. It is cheap and interesting.

“Makes for a good walk!”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

I just happened to spot the ornate chariot and the rider from a distance and followed my vision to reach this park full of various sculptures. It was a nice walk around. There were children playing around . Can be good on a day with good weather.

“Great museum for families”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

Traveling with kids (7 & 9) requires us to balance culture, shopping, beach and parks. The history museum was one place we all enjoyed. Many of the displays were interactive, which made it much more interesting for the kids. I literally could not tear them away from a water mill and irrigation project at the Moorish section. For the adults there was much to see and learn. Absolutely loved it.

“Enjoyed the museum and can't beat the price”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

The museum provides an excellent history of the Catalan region. We found the ancient history a little tiring because there is so much to describe, but I really enjoyed the exhibits and interactive displays.
The price is 4 euro or 2 euro with a coupon, so how much do you need to learn to get your money's worth?
