“Loved it”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

One of my favorite places in Barcelona. Away from the noisy streets. Nice boat lake were you can feed ducks. Lots of street performers practicing. A lovely way to relax after going from one touristy crowded palace to another. Also, very near Arc de Triomf. Would have gone back again if i had the time.

“lovely place for a break”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Nothing more than a nice park. Anyway, if you are in the neighboring of this park, it represents an ideal place for having a relaxing break time from the visit of the city. Inside this park there is a remarkable fountain, an excellent zoo (of course there is an entry fee for the zoo), nice walking paths and a lovely pond.

“What a blast!!!”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

I found this park while on a run from our apartment at Casp 74 just around the corner. It is where Barcelona hangs out in the evenings. There were skateboarders, musicians, couples, singles, families, street performers, tourists, and most importantly, locals hanging out in the park on the beautiful mid summer evenings that my family and I spent in this wonderful city.

The park includes a lake, beautiful fountain, zoological garden, and ends at the entrance to the Barcelona Zoo. Parc de la Cuitadella made my family and I feel like we were locals during our recent July through August stay in this idyllic city.

“Lovely!”
Reviewed October 2, 2013 via mobile

I would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely relaxing park with a beautiful boating lake and fountains. Quiet and peaceful. Much better than the overrated tourist trap of park guell.

“A Gorgeous Park!”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

Me and my friends came for a walk here after lunch one day and although we only spent about an hour here, it is a lovely picnic spot if you've got a few hours spare.
It has a boating lake, which is great fun if you're on a family holiday with children present (if you take some bread the little ones can feed the ducks too!)
There is also an amazing fountain adorned with dragons (yes...water-breathing dragons...), a huge staircase, and a stunning gold chariot at the top!
It is located very near the Gothic Quarter and the Arc de Triumph, and is well worth a visit if you're in that area!
