“A park for non-visitors”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

While Parc Guell is a must-see, Ciutadella is more of a park for the people that actually live in Barcelona. The park is well done and it's fun to just watch the locals hang out and picnic. And it's close to the beach!

“What a beautiful park in Barcelona!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

My partner and I spent a lovely afternoon in this glorious park with a wonderful atmosphere. There is a beautiful lake with boats for hire, there was dancing in a rotunda and lovely walkways. The park is full of lush, green grass to sit upon and scattered throughout are sculptures and a nice fountain. What a beautiful spot in Barcelona!

“An island of green”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

One of the few big green parks close to the city center. This is like an island of green and shade amidst so many sterile paved squares and boulevards. A former citadel, saw its use changed along the centuries into one of the city's main leasure areas. Lots of parrots on the trees.

“Don't miss this one”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

One of the nicest parks I've been to. A bit crowded during sunny days, but still quite enjoyable. We loved the boat rowing in the man made lake Llac and the cascade fountain. It was still an early spring, so it must be even lovelier during the season peak.

Amazing park! Has gorgeous architecture, relaxing lawns with benches to sit and relax, walkways, green walking paths, a huge elephant ... Absolutely a beautiful park!
