I was looking for a place to experience Flamenco live. Because Flamenco is not native to this part of Spain, it is difficult to find an organic, spontaneous performance as you might in other parts of the country. From what I've read, most of the places in Barcelona are tourist traps that charge large sums of money, provide a substandard meal, and cram everyone in like sardines. I asked a colleague in Barcelona for a recommendation and he came up with Los Tarantos. For 10€ you get an up close 30 minute performance including dance and music. We saw the Taquilla performance. The place was pretty full but didn't feel crowded. And there isn't a bad seat in the house. The music was excellent, particularly the vocalist. The dancers were superb, especially the male dancer who was so passionate and skilled. I felt inspired and very satisfied when I left. Be sure to buy your tickets a hour or two before the show. Performances are at at 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30.

we booked online for a show in tarantos flamenco show , i was very thrilled about the high quality of the performers , you can really feel the energy of andalusia in the music and the great dance of the graceful flamenco ladies , the place is quite small , always packed with tourist ,drinks are reasonably priced , please make sure you book online to avoid the long que ,the place is in placa real , just 2 minutes walk from las ramblas .
me and my family enjoyed the show and i can advise everyone not to miss this attraction if you are in barcelana , it s by the way the most affordable compare to other show . it s only 10 euros .

If you're looking for a 2 hour flamenco extravaganza, this is not it -- this was much better. It was a small venue (80 or fewer spectactors), sitting around a very small raised stage. There are 3-4 musicians and singers, playing acoustic instruments, while one or two dancers perform. The setting was very intimate, and it was incredible. It was MUCH better than those touristy dinner and dancing shows. And, the price was amazing -- tickets are only 10Euros (8Euros if you purchase ahead of time online), and the show is only 30 minutes (but you have an hour in the venue). There's a bar, so you can have a glass of cava while watching. Definitely a lovely experience!

Just came back in from the show. We paid 10€ each to get in and the place was clean and seating was good. The band playing tonight was very good. We enjoyed one flamenco show with a couple performing and the. A solo act at the end. They played five songs and the band was made up of four men. The flamenco dancer only danced twice for the first and last song.
You get what you pay for, however I couldn't justify paying 50 to 80€ at other places for an hour show when I got one for 30 mins. For 10€ you get the show and that is all, drinks are fairly priced and there are No food options. The other places offer one drink for a price between 25 & 45 €, and if you want dinner included you are looking at 50 to 80€.
So by far this place was the best bang for your buck and doesn't eat up all your time so you can enjoy the rest of the night life.

We were very dissapointed. Out of the half hour show only about 15 min. were dedicated to the flamenco dance. Not worth the money though the dancer was very good. No traditional costume.
