Lovely and helpful staff. Really convenient location in the middle of Las Ramblas, where you can reach lots of interesting touristic attractions, as it near the gothic area and very close to the port and beaches. Maybe the area is a bit noisy by night due to the big numbers of bars nearby, but the room was very quiet so I could sleep well.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my wife in august. The hotel is well located at the lower half on the Rambla, and the room rates are also good if you are on a budget. The staff is friendly and helpful, albeit a bit overworked from time to time.

Our double room was on the small side, but nice and clean with a spacious bathroom. We had a room overlooking the backyard, which was quiet. But the walls in this hotel are very thin, and on the second night we were kept awake until half past two in the morning by a very noisy frenchman in the adjacent room.

Breakfast is barely adequate, with bread and croissants and coffee and juice, and some lukewarm tortillas and bacon and scrambled eggs. But on the bright side: Wifi is free, coverage and speed is good. PC + printer in the lounge is convenient for printing out boarding cards and tickets.

What you get here is really what you pay for: A reasonably priced and well located hotel in Barcelona. A bit run down, but not without charm. Stay here and enjoy the wonderful city, but do not expect any luxury or lavishness.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the Rambla.

The walls were very thin and the rooms overlooking Las Ramblas were noisy all night. The breakfasts were included but really not at all good, the coffee came from a machine which seemed strange as there was someone in the room to help. He could have made the coffee. However the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was old and had the most amazing staircase and some of the public rooms had painting on the ceilings. Being on Las Ramblas was very convenient but even at six am the young were still partying.

Stayed at this hotel with a family of 4, we ordered a quad room and it was perfect. The room was very spacious, clean and we were able to check in early. This hotel had a breakfast facility that was included and the choices were many, very delicious. Location was awesome, step right out to La Rambla where all the action is. Very close to the bus stops and metro. Many many places to eat, squares right around the corner. Staff was very friendly, family run. If your looking for a clean, friendly and excellent place to stay, stay here.

Room Tip: Floors 1 & 2 have balconies on la Rambla, floor 3 balcony is covered by a very high wall, no view.

cheap, nice and perfect location. don't expect anything more and you'll love it! If you want more than a place to sleep I would look elsewhere, but as a base it's perfect! Wouldn't move the beds if you're scared of dust bunnies - other than that it seemed very clean.
