Hotel Call is everything you need for a budget trip to Barcelona. The staff are very friendly and will do anything they can to help with any queries. The rooms were spotless, if you're looking for luxury go elsewhere but this hotel provides comfy beds and a good shower, which is all a lot of travellers want.
The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the Liceu metro/Las Ramblas but still in the beautiful Gothic quarter. Local supermarkets were good and close to a number of banks.
Will definitely stay again when I go to Barcelona!

Just come back from a two night stay with girlfriends and I was very impressed with the hotel and its location. It is ideally placed in the gothic quarter and is also close to Las Ramblas. The staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms are basic but have all you need a good shower and comfy bed!

Excelent location, near metro (liceu station) and easy to find. English speaking staff were friendly. the room was small, very clean, no window, with bathroom, if what you need is a place to sleep and do not look for luxuries, it is perfect. As compared to other hotels in spain, Barcelona on the whole is expensive, and so was this hotel. close to the ayuntaniento and cathedral,

The hotel is right in the middle of the old town with interesting little shops around and restaurants only a minute or two away. It's rooms are fairly basic but very clean and since there is so much to see I can't think it matters as we were only in the room to sleep. The recepion staff were most helpful and unlike some of the other reviews we did not think the area was unsafe at all.We paid around 85 euros per night which for Barcelona is very reasonable. You could pay lots more for a better hotel but I'd rather spend my cash seeing the city !!

The location of this hotel is slap bang in the middle of all the action yet down a quiet alleyway to make sure you dont get disturbed by the noise. The hotel was well priced and the rooms clean and functional.

The staff were very helpful and overall I wouldnt hesitate to comeback again.

I was a victim of pickpocketing, the first time in fifteen years of extensive travelling but it happened a long way from the hotel near the beach. I certainly dont think the surrounding areas are any more prevelant for pickpockets than anywhere else in this city. I will give them credit, they are pretty good at it.

to summarise, good location, good price clean, free wifi and friendly, il be back.
