The cooking class by Rias was fun and informative, casual and inspiring. A trip to the local Santa Caterina market was punctuated by stops to explain local history and the market itself used as both a gastronomic and historical reference. The cooking was kept simple and we all had a chance to participate and learn. The choice of tapas dishes was varied and not predictable - the red peppers stuffed with a cod cream were something we'd never encountered before. It's a great way to learn about Spanish and Catalan food, have a lot of fun and a great meal.
