Very good hotel with very good service. It is money well spent and balcony rooms are added bonus. 10 mins walk from Sargada Familia and Metro and 20 mins walk to La Perrera and Casa Baltio. Don't have a single point to complaint. Excellent Staff as well.

This is a decent hotel, not good, not bad. True, pictures are stuck on the wall with double sided tape, so one might fall off the wall during the night. This happened to me! But, breakfast is good, however, too expensive! My room was clean and the staff was friendly. And, it is not in a busy area around bars and restaurants, so this can be good or bad, depending on what you want.
So, overall, this is an average hotel.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms have a lot of streetnoise (cars and ambulances).

This is the worst hotel I can remember staying in in Spain, which I have been visiting very regularly for over 25 years. My room was bleak and utterly lacked any character; it has cheap, functional furniture. No soap was supplied. I was charged for my entire stay on arrival, which was odd, so I didn't have a chance to leave when I discovered there was no safe in the room (vital in Barcelona), and no fridge (valuable in hot weather). I had to pay an extra 9 Euros for a very poor breakfast (no butter!)t, only redeemed by good coffee. Incredibly, I paid more per night than I have paid for me and my wife to stay in 5* and 4* Paradors in high season. Why did I stay there? I had work to do across the road on the stunning Sant Pau site and when I was offered the hotel I looked at the website and got the impression that it was a 4* or 3* star hotel. It is actually 2* and doesn't make that clear enough. The staff are courteous, though it took ages to clean my dismal room. It is clean, at least. But it is a truly dismal hotel.

Room Tip: For a good room, just go to another hotel.

Who would guess this is only a 2* hotel, and why is it?
Its almost like a 3*++ to me. Its clean, central, very good breakfast, very helpful staff.
And a very good price. Why pay many times more to live in the citycenter with much noise, when u could stay here?

This hotel is located right next to Hospital de Sant Pau. This hospital holds a visit tour for tourist. It is around three minutes from the subway station, around ten minutes walk to Sagrada Familia. The entrance faces the intersection where usually taxi wait.Rooms are old, but are clean enough. The breakfast menu is without the change, so do not expect the breakfast. I recommend for a person giving priority to convenience of the movement.
