Great hotel, helpful staff, good basic breakfast. Near to Sagrada and walking distance of parc guell. Evening meal and wine all good value. Parking in same building an added plus. No complaints from us!

Room Tip: Balcony if possible

This is a perfect hotel for a week end in Barcelona. It is very central and connected to the rest of the city for the underground station just oppostite the hotel. Moreover the rooms are very spacious and confortable. We had a wonderf terrace too with a stunning view of the city. This hotel can be considered as a 4 star one. Would recommend it.

i stayed here the last night of my stay in Barcelona — stayed at four places in 8 nights in Barcelona to get a feel of different parts of the city.

i have to say i was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, for the price i was paying (i think below 45€/night with no breakfast, booked from otel, com). The room itself was comfortable and quiet, a comfy bed, with nice toiletries included. i was loaned an adapter from the friendly reception for my laptop.

The hotel is very close to a metro stop, and Sagrada Familia seemed a short walk away (i had already been by the time i stayed here). There was a good variety of shops available within 5 minutes' walk — not the place if you're looking for designer brands — i got several nice kitchen & bath towels from a fabric store, and got some nice bakery items the next morning for breakfast.

As long as you don't pay the walk-in rate (check the prices being offered through you favorite hotel booking site), i would be willing to consider this hotel again when exploring the city for a couple of days.

Clean, wifi works, nice view, everything you need. Breakfast was good, enough choice. Helpfull staff . Metro (camp de l 'arpa) nearby, so all touristic attractions are easy to get to. Small supermarket around the corner, shops, bakery's also. Room was sufficient. Great value for your money!

I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights from the 6th to the 9th December. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay. For the price we paid (55 euros/night) we were expecting fairly basic, but it was much more than that. Our room on the top floor was large and had a big balcony overlooking a beautiful building. The room came with a hairdryer (admittedly a little less powerful than we'd have liked), some toiletries, a safe that was free to use, a mini fridge and a TV with several international channels. The bathroom didn't feel cramped like most bathrooms in cheaper hotels and the shower was very powerful and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the security guard. Everything was clean and our beds were made and the towels cleaned every day.

The only thing that perhaps wasn't perfect was the location. The hotel is a little far away from the centre but as long as you're reasonably fit you can easily walk it (we did both days). It's a pleasant walk and you can plan your route to include top sights such as La Sagrada Familia or Casa Battlo. If you don't fancy walking there are metro stations and bus stops nearby and a taxi to/from P/ Catalunya only costs 8/9 euros.

The location wasn't really an issue for us and on the whole we were very pleased with our hotel choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Barcelona.

Although this hotel may be considered a bit too far out by some, I didn't think it was too bad. All the top attractions are in walking distance if you don't mind walking and getting lost with a map! Our room was on the top floor and even came with a balcony, the view was pretty impressive and the room was clean and came complete with safe, tv and plenty of toiletries. The staff at the reception were helpful at all times, as was the security guard who helped us when our safe wouldn't open. The area surrounding the hotel was not too bad either with a few nice restaurants here and there, the one directly opposite the hotel has a good value pizza menu.
I would definately reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting a cheap option for a short trip to Barcelona. Lovely city, lovely people.

I and a friend stayed at the hotel for one night in August, 2012. My hotel room was on the fourth floor, overlooking Agbar Tower. The balcony was spacious and the view was beautiful. The room and the bathroom were very clean and had everything one needs for a short stay, including basic toiletries. The location of the hotel is great, close to metro and short walk away from Sagrada Familia.
We arrived early in the morning, had breakfast at a buffet in the hotel and left luggage at the hotel, since the check-in was only at 12. It took us about 10 minute relaxed walk to reach Sagrada Familia and then continued to walk to Passeig de Gracia. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was rather average, however the coffee at the little downstairs cafe was delicious.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and will stay there again! I payed CAD70 for a one night stay.
