We stayed for 3 nights while we toured the city. The hotel is very comfortable, expecially the beds (although we had 2 singles instead of a double). It is also on a quiet street which is good after a hectic day in 30 degree heat. There are loads of lovely cafe/bakery type places for breakfast. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the Fontana metro stop (or 8 mins from Lesseps) which is on one of the best lines (links to most of the city). We walked to Parc Guell in about 20 mins...we got a taxi from the Ramblas for 12 euro at 2am....all in all a good base to explore the city

The hotel room was fine, price was reasonable, and location good, but the front desk staff went out of their way to make us feel unwanted. My wife injured her back and getting a bag of ice was like getting Republicans to raise taxes! When we asked about options to get to the airport, the staff wasn't particularly forthcoming about all of our choices. We had to dig these out on our own. Both my wife and grown daughter who are pretty mellow folks mentioned how rude the staff were.

We stayed two nights with a 3 years old. We arrived Barcelona airport around 10 PM, jumped onto taxi (cost 36 euro) and takes 30 min to Guillermo Tell. Reception (24 h) was extremely professional and friendly. Room was good size (3 beds), free internet access, elegant and very clean. It has pretty much everything you need, except hot water boiler and tea bags, but you can ask reception for tea and coffee for free. This hotel is run by extremely professional staff.

Great location, friendly neighbourhood. Good coffee shops, supermarket, interesting local shops, metro, bus station within 2 min walking distance.

We will definetly come back and gonna stay at least a week just to enjoy the good hotel service and great shopping around neighbourhood.

Tip, for site seeing, don´t bother metro or bus. Taxi is cheap here, just jump on taxi, cost less than 7 euro to most of heritage site.

My husband, adult son and I were looking for a pre-cruise hotel near Las Ramblas, because that was the only area I was familiar with in Barcelona. I waited too long to book a hotel right in that area and read some of your reviews about Guillermo Tell. The hotel is in a very convenient location. Close to metro where you can travel anywhere. The triple room was clean, quiet, comfortable and cool. There is a coffe shop a few doors down the street. The hotel rate was very competitive. We tried to book it for our return trip, but again waited too late. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.
The location is 30 minutes walk from Pl. de Catalunya and easy to get by METRO.

Staff didn't say much. We didn't go for the break fast because they are plenty of options nearby (Dia supermercado in the street)

Free wireless internet is nice to check email on your phone.

Great hotel, would consider to stay here again. We had a great long weekend here.

Good location: not in the city centre, but just a few steps from 2 metro lines (L6, L7). 10 minutes from Placa Catalunya, Park Güell, Sagrada Familia and Casa Battlo&La Pedrera. Clean rooms, big bed, comfortable stay. Very helpful hotel staff, accurate cleaning. Good price/value ratio. The best choice in Catalunya!

I found the hotel on Tripadvisor while looking for a place close to a friend's house in Gracia. While on a map it may not look to be super central it is a nice neighbourhood and well connected. There is a metro stop across the street but we just walked everywhere as the weather was great. Bed was HUGE especially for Europe, room very clean and bathroom very nice. My bf had called in advance to have flowers in the room when we got there and the staff obliged (and for the agreed price- what a novelty!)
There is an AMAZING bakery down the street called BOCI so we never tried the in house breakfast but do recommend the bakery/chocolate shop. When I stayed in Borne everyone said "watch your purse"- I never heard that once in this neighbourhood. Staff was friendly. Will certainly return!
