I'v been staying for three nights with my wife. like all other reviews you will read here, every thing is correct (room is clean, modern, breakfest is very good) and so on.
BUT for two night I was bited by bedbugs all over my body. I was able to smash some of the bedbugs but on the other night I was bited again.
I left the hotel with a feeling that probably I will not get back again when I return to Barcelona again.

Dear guest,

First of all, let me express our sorrow for the problems you have experienced, and please accept our sincere apologies.

As soon as we were aware of the problem, when you told our staff on your departure date, we immediately contacted the Pest Control and they closed to room to eliminate all tapestries, curtains and bed clothing. The exterminators have already certified that there is no trace left of any bug, and we will now proceed to refurbish that room, with a brand-new bed and new furniture.

This is a totally uncontrollable problem, as New York City inhabitants have already experienced, but our hotel does everything possible to prevent these uncomfortable situations.

If we had been notified before, we would have immediately given you a new room, without need to wait for a second night.

Best regrads,

An excellent hotel in a good location near to Barcelona's main roads of Ave Diagonal and Paseig de Gracia. Walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla. Rooms are exactly the same as the pics you see in the hotel website. Cleanliness is top notch. Beds are comfortable. Overall, the room felt cozy and homely. Wifi available in the room. Hotel also has a computer and printer for complimentary guest use in the lobby. Staff are professional and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend in september 2010. Hotel was brilliant. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was about a 10/15 minute walk from the Ramblas. Can't wait to go back to stay at this hotel again.

We chose the EuroPark Hotel after reading trip advisor reviews. We wanted somewhere that was within walking distance of the major sights. Previous reviews suggested that the beds were extremely comfortable, and that swung it for us!!
The hotel decor is predominantly black and white - walls, sheets, wallpaper, tiles.
The impression is of a hotel that has recently been updated. We didn't use the swimming pool on the eighth floor.
We didn't eat in the hotel, except the free crisps in the mini-bar. We ate in different restaurants/cafes every day and were never dissapointed - all within walking distances.
Because of the great location we were able to walk everywhere we wanted, and didn't use public transport once.
All in all we were extremely happy with our stay here, but since we left for Barcelona some poor reviews have appeared on Trip Advisor for EuroPark Hotel. I'm afraid that we have to agree with the surly, unfriendly complaints with regard to the person that checked us in. There was no conversation whatsoever and certainly no eye-contact. This was the only time that we came across the individual concerned, and the younger chap that worked on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. Despite the hotel's assurances that this problem would be addressed, it obviously hasn't . It is a shame that such a rude person is allowed to meet and greet guests, but it wouldn't stop me staying at the hotel in future and I would still recommend it.
For anyone wishing to buy a comfortable mattress, our mattress was a King-size FLEX Multielastic and I would definitely recommend it. A truly 5* mattress!!
