Okay so here are the minus points - no tea/coffee facilities in room.
Apart from that I cannot really fault the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, easy, quick check in. Rooms are fairly small but clean and have everything you need inc hairdryer, mini bar and safe. We were in a room facing the road so there was quite a lot of traffic noise so if that bothers you I'd take some earplugs (cant comment on how noisy the other rooms are) bearing in mind you are in the middle of a city. TV only has a news channel in English.
The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and serves till 11am which is a plus point.
Location - everywhere is within walking distance, there is a metro system, train and tram which we didn't use (only train to get there from airport, just over 7 euros for 2). If you like buying clothes its fantastic there are shops galore.
Overall I had an lovely time in Barcelona and couldnt really fault the hotel at all.
