We spent three nights at the europark Hotel end of August, and we have been absolutely surprized by the high quality standards of the hotel and by the efficiency of the staff.
The hotel is located at walking distance just between the magnificient Sagrada Familia and the Passeig de Gracia avenue were fabulous Casa Batlo and La Perdreria are seated. We had two very clean double bed rooms of pretty decent size. The decoration is simple but elegant (with classy dark and cream tones); the bathroom follows the same style and had a nice big size shower.
The breakfast is buffet with enough choice of warm and cold stuff (sausages and other spanish specialities, eggs, cereals, plenty of pastries, fruit salads, fresh orange juice). Just one small comment about the coffee that could have just been of a slightly higher quality in order to start the days wonderfully.
The hotel also has a small but pleasant rooftop pool to get refreshed after a day's walk, but the size does not really allow to swim much.
A good point that is a plus for this hotel compared to many other hotels (especially all those 5-stars') is the free and efficient internet access in all parts of the hotel. This is really showing that this hotel takes good care of its customers, especiall when travelling with teenagers.
The efficiency and friendliness of the staff was also very much appreciated. If you are afraid to walk, transportation is not a problem: you can rent bikes easily in several places in Barcelona, you can also use metro (nearest station is on short distance from the hotel), but since the hotel is located on a large one-way avenue, there are also plenty of taxis that will pass by for your convenience and fares are still affordable (especially if you are 3 or 4) as compared to other big cities within Europe.
All in all, we have spent a very agreable time at the Europark hotel. It was our first time in that hotel and we would really and definitely recommend to other customers visiting this city. It has no restaurant (but room service with simple dishes is available in case) but the city has over 3000 restaurants and the choice is out there to go for a nice meal whilst visiting the different parts of such wonderful city (btw, we can also recommend excellent tapas at two restaurants that are close to the city Hall square (l'Arlequino and Orio).

We spent three nights here in August. The hotel was clean and the rooms were pretty spacious for a city. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was modern; the pictures that have been uploaded on Trip Advisor are a true representation of the hotel. They had a small pool and gym which we didn't use, as we prefer to go to the beach. The aircon worked well, which was very much needed in the heat! We opted to have breakfast in the hotel, which was always well stocked and pretty good. There isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel food wise, so we were glad to have paid for this when booking. They also provide room service, and had a relatively long list of food available for this.

The hotel was situated in a good position - around 5 mins walk from La Sagrada Familia, 10 mins from Passeig de Gracia and about 20 mins from La Rambla. It was less than a block to Girona metro station which goes straight to the beach.

The only slight complaint that we had was that some of the reception staff seemed quite grumpy and unapproachable - it doesn't take much to smile! Overall we had a lovely stay and would happily stay here again.

We spent 4 days in BCN in July for a wedding and took the chance to visit the city once again.
The position of the hotel is really good, don't care about reviews telling It's distant from main attractions. The reception and the hall are not so impressive, but rooms are excellent. Confortably furnished, a big relaxing bed and a big bathroom with a lot of space to arrange your things. The view is nothing special, but you're among buildings and you're supposed to spend very little time wathing out of the window when you visit Barcelona ..
At the top of the hotel you find a little swimming pool, just good to relax after a full day walk in the city. Recommended.

We were looking for a quiet hotel away from the "main attractions" in Barcelona and were very pleased with the Europark. It is only a 10-15 minute walk from La Rambla and a short walk to the Girona metro station. The room was modern and air-conditioned and generally quiet - we did experience some normal street sounds, but nothing really disruptive. The staff were reserved, but when asked questions, were very helpful and detailed in the information provided. The computers were always available for free internet access. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Barcelona was VERY crowded with all the cruise ships in port!

Large room, very clean, pleasant interior. Really liked the hardwood floors. Excellent air conditioner. Quiet and relaxing. Definitely deserves 4 stars based on what we experienced.

Very close to Girona subway station. Less than 10 min walk from Passeig de Gràcia.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location of the hotel is good (17 min walk to Plaza Cataluña) and the rooms are stylish and clean. Wifi is included (for free) and there is a very small gym for health freaks like us. Only negative side is that breakfast is not included in the standard rate.

I booked ths hotel after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and I must say that I really wasn't disappointed. The rooms ar a bit small if you don't pay extra for them but with design furniture, free internet and spotless clean. The pool area on top of the roof is very nice, especially after a busy shopping tour on la Rambla. For being Spanish, the breakfast was really good - and you can get free Cava for breakfast :-). The only disappointing thing was that we couldn't change room. We got one with a very boring view over a concrete wall...When booking lots of months in advance one would expect some advantage. Since the hotel was full it was nothing to do about it :-(. Our kids got better rooms and were very satisfied though.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view at the street side. You might think it's noisy but the walls are good...
