We really enjoyed our stay at the EuroPark Hotel which is conveniently located near most of Barcelona's famous sites. We found that the front desk staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The modern rooms were average size for europe and ultra clean. The bathroom has been remodeled and is a nice size with a large walk in shower which has great water pressure. There are 3 computers available onsite, although the two upstairs at the restaurant are unavailable when the restaurant closes.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

My brother and I just spent 4 nights at Europark hotel. Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from Girona subway station. It's in a rather quiet neighborhood so the city noises didn't bother us at all. The staff at the front desk were very helpful as well. The room was bigger than we expected and the breakfast buffet was very nice. In conclusion, the hotel offers excellent value for money and we would definitely be staying here again.

This was our first visit to Barcelona and so we had no idea what to expect in terms of the hotel and it's location. Luckily, it is in a great situation close to Passeig de Gracia (5 minutes walk) and only 10 minutes from the stunning the Sagrada Familia. It is on a busy road, but even though our room was facing the traffic, the sound was mostly kept out.

The room itself was lovely. Decorated in a monochromatic style, the room was a good size with very comfortable beds and a well-sized bathroom. It was very clean when we arrived and was thoroughly cleaned every day, as you'd expect. All rooms have a TV, a phone and the whole hotel has free wi-fi which seemed quite quick and reliable.

We only ate in the restaurant on one occasion and we were the only diners! The food was fine, but we found it much more enjoyable to venture into town and find more of an atmosphere. Two places we enjoyed eating at were Divinus and Pomorada, both on the Passeig de Gracia. The breakfast buffet was excellent - lots of choice and always plenty of food too. The staff at breakfast were excellent and friendly too.

Sadly, we found some of the other staff rather stand-offish and lacking in warmth. For example, when we checked out on our final morning, the manager was happy to take payment for the breakfasts and handed back the card without so much as a thankyou, enquiry as to how we enjoyed our stay or good wishes for our journey home. Though these things aren't vital, it did sour things slightly.

Don't for one minute let this put you off staying at the hotel, though. It is a great place to base yourself in to get the most from Barcelona, a truly lovely city which I intend to revisit in the future.

Room Tip: Make sure you get breakfast as part of your deal!

Stayed for 4 nights in early April and as it was our first time in Barcelona had been unsure if we`d chosen the right location, however it was perfect. We walked everywhere, only 10 minutes from Sagrada Familia and the same to Playa Catalunya and the Ramblas and even less to Gaudi`s La Pedrera and Casa Batllo.
We had a room on the 7th floor at the side and whilst there was no view I think a room at the front would`ve been too noisy, the room was an excellent size, bigger than other city centre hotel rooms I`ve stayed in, and the bathroom was excellent with a very large shower. Only minor niggle was the heat in the hotel landings and the rooms themselves - not unbearable, and it was particularly hot outside, but perhaps it should be addressed.
The breakfast was very good and the service excellent, no queues and the buffet was regularly replenished, a very nice room to eat and relax.
The 8th floor terrace was a lovely bonus with comfy seating and a very small swimming pool - an excellent spot to unwind after a busy day sightseeing.
Checking in and out was very efficient and all the reception staff knowledgeable and friendly, we were flying out on late evening flights and it was great to have a secure baggage room to leave our cases.
We took the city tour bus on a 2 day ticket (30 euros) there are 2 routes of over 2 hours each and as you`re able to hop on and off wherever you want it was definitely the best option, buses leave Catalunya Square every 10 minutes. From April a lot of the popular attractions are open until 8pm which certainly helps to avoid some of the crowds/queues and if you can make the effort, as we did, the Sagrada Familia is possibly best visited around 9am before the coaches arrive! Definitely worth the effort as it`s quite astonishing inside.
Barcelona is a lovely city for a short break and the Europark Hotel is an ideal place to stay.

This was our first trip to Barcelona and from the moment my wife and I entered the hotel we were warmly greeted by Elias at the check in desk who was so kind and helpful. He showed us two different rooms and gave us a choice of staying either in a room with a view of the street which was little noisy or in a more quieter room that did not have any view. We chose the quiet room and we stayed for 6 nights and we encountered no problem at all. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom was big enough and clean. The hotel is situated in a very nice location that is walking distance away from either transit or other areas such as the Las Ramblas and Cataluniya. We fell in love with Barcelona and we will surely consider coming back to this hotel next time. Elias is a wonderful guy and he guided us regarding various sightseeing places and how to get there.

i searched high and low, and thank god i took some time and didn't go with the first hotel that came up. the Europark is within excellent distance of everything. just a v pleasant 20 min walk away from Catalunya Square, where you can start your bus tour via Bus Turistic (Europark give you a discount voucher). Bus Turistic do 3 city routes, red - south, blue - north, and green - beach area. Europark voucher gives you a couple of euros off this. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Barcelona North Bus Station (should you fly to Girona, bus to Blona North Bus Station return is just EUR21, and runs regularly-check thier website). back to the hotel...rooms are spotless, lots of attention to detail. free internet access (if you need that kind of thing there are PC's in lobby and on 1st floor). Breakfast was great. staff very friendly, and though may be a simple thing, they remember our beverage order from day one.....it's the small things really. i was on ground zero, but you must visit the 8th floor terrace. outdoor little terrace, with sunbeds and pool. at night, it great to look up to the stunnin Mount Tibedabo, and the cathedral up there, just a last sight before sinking into your comfortable bed in the europark. enjoy. i v.highly recommend, and can't wait to visit again.
