“Excellent and cosy, makes you happy”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Went there on our last day of the trip, after spending very exhausting 5 nights in Barcelona. Unfortunatelly we didn't find out earlier....
The entrance is very intresting, just passing through a very modern grocery store, ending in very cosy area. Excellent atmosphere, very good service and tastes... Tables are few so better make a reservation before.
Worth all penny.

“best in barcelona”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

We happened upon this resturant by accident. It is small and isited mostly by the local clientel. It is a mixture between a french and spanish cuisine. The staff were fabulous. The chef came to our table and discussed the dishes as well as being open to change them to our liking. The wine cellar and cheese case are one of the best. The wait staff was warm, friendly while also very knowledgable.

“Different and tasty foood”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

Make a reservation as its a small restaurant. We went early as we were traveling with children.
We sat on the large kitchen table at the back.
Food was fresh and well presented.
Wine recommendation from the waitress was spot on
Highly recommend the cream infused mozzarella - not great for the waist line though
Kids were welcome, there was enough on the menu for them to pick.

“Great food and sangria ”
Reviewed September 22, 2012 via mobile

We ate here on the spur of the moment when we couldn't get into another restaurant. There were no free tables but we ate at the bar.
I agree with the other reviewers that the sangria was excellent, tasty and strong. We ate the hamburguesa and shared a chocolate pudding dessert. The burger was good (cooked medium was still a little pink for my liking, but consistent with how they cook meat in Spain), the dessert was fantastic and the overall experience a good one. Waiters were very warm, pleasant and helpful in explaining dishes in English too. Not far from Gracia but felt like a million miles away from the tourist traps of barca.
Only negative was that I found it a touch pricy.
Probably would have preferred to eat at our intended destination, but this was a very good back up.
Looked like great produce available too.

“Not the average tourist restaurant”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Made a reservation (highly recommended as there are only 7 tables). Beautiful ambiance in the back of a deli. We choose our own bottle of wine from their market shelf and we werent disappointed. Good food and a lovely evening out.
