Its next to Sagrada, but we liked that if you walk a bit out it is very nice, quiet neighborhood. Food supermarket right around the corner. We have not been to the restaurant which is next door, but it looked nice. Rooms are a bit small, but there is plenty of space for 3-4 ppl if you take two-room suite.
Free in-room wifi worked fine.

We stayed at Hispano 7 Suiza for 4 nights with 3 children and were very pleased by the excellent service that the warm and welcoming staff provided to us. Room 401, on the back of the building, very quiet.
Appartment was clean, location is perfect with a supermarket next door. A few excellent restaurants nearby where you can enjoy spanish tapas after a long day visiting the city, we recommend Tossa, quality at very reasonable price, this is one is worth the try ! Last positive comment on the location next to the Sagrada Familia in a quiet area, accessible by 2 metro line. Definitely a place to consider if you visit Barcelona.

As others have noted, this hotel is a solid choice for family travellers.

We arrived from the south of France by car and it was an easy drive into the city and to the hotel. When you arrive you just need to pop inside and ask them to open the door to the carpark. Having underground parking was a bonus for us - we didn't have to worry about the car nor did we have to sort out rates etc. in a language we don't speak.

The staff were warm, helpful and welcoming and more than willing and capable of speaking with us in English.

The location is excellent. Our children are ages 9 and 6 - we were able to walk home from Park Güell with the kids (we took a taxi up there and it was really inexpensive, around 8E). We also took the métro many times - great value and while there is a stop beside the Sagrada Família we often did the 10 minute walk to the Verdaguer stop because it allowed us to take a more direct route to the places we wanted to visit.

We put our kitchen to good use for breakfasts and dinners. Ours was _very_ basic in terms of its supplies. There were glasses, cutlery and basic utensils and pots for cooking. But it would have been helpful to have simple things like a cutting board and colander. If you're planning on cooking I'd recommend that you bring your own dishwasher soap from home (tablets only), a dishtowel, a sponge and dish washing up soap. The hotel will see you these in a good little package (4E) but it only has 1 dishwasher tablet in it.

The location of the hotel makes it very easy to buy groceries for cooking - we discovered 3 good sized grocery stores within 5 minute walk plus smaller green grocers etc. also close by. If you are arriving on a Sunday remember that there won't be much (if anything) open. You might bring your first night's meal with you. There is a pod-based espresso machine in the room. You can purchase the pods from the front desk (85c per pod).

The room was very clean and we were delighted with the amount of space we had. The water pressure is great and the towels were nice. Our fridge needed defrosting and thus wasn't quite as cold as it might have been. However, when I told the front desk upon check out they immediately made a phone call about it. My impression throughout the entire visit was that the staff were very happy to help.

We had a room on the back of the hotel that overlooked a school and other backyards. It was a nice neighbourhood view. You can hear the school kids in the morning and afternoon but their noise was fun noise. The rooms have thick metal shutters that you control so they are great for quiet and dark sleeping.

If you are travelling with a family and need a well-located home base for sleeping and making some meals, this hotel is an excellent choice.

two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one kitchen a living room, very clean, one block from la Sagrada Familia for less than 200 euros, a Michelin restaurant with a fixed price lunch and diner below 15 euros , nice and welcoming people, I could not believe my eyes... Highly recommended, I won't go anywhere else

We stayed at the Apartments Restaurant Hispanos 7 Suiza after taking a cruise from Barcelona. After staying at the Hilton and AC hotels, we were plesently surprised by the amount of space and quaintness of this property. Bothe the gentleman and lady at the front desk were exceptional and accommodating. I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs more space than a “traditional” hotel room offers. We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit that could sleep up to six for less than we paid for one room at the Hilton. Thanks for the great first impression. We will be back many times in the future.

Suite hotel. Bonus is the free basement parking. On arrival the receptionist was a little flustered by 9 people arriving at once. Rooms were cool and clean. Lovely deep bath. We got a taxi to La Ramba but the metro was just around the corner. 2 min walk to Segrada Familia. Would recommend as a family hotel or 2 couple as suite had 2 separate bedrooms with own bathrooms. Lovely kitchen but couldn't find any coffee just t-bags. quite at back of hotel and has great shutters to keep sun out in summer. Kids were amazed buy the shutters.

Room Tip: quite rooms at back. One way traffic at front but shutters keep noise down although think it would...

We came to Barcelona to do some serious shopping, and decided to book this hotel for a few nights. As we arrived at the hotel we were told that our room would be ready in about twenty minutes, so we sat down to wait in the receptionarea. As half an hour had passed, the receptionist told us to wait "Just five more minutes". We ended up waiting for over an hour. Not the very best first impression.
But, as we finally got our roomkey and entered the room, we were amazed.
Most definetly worth the wait!
Two big rooms with kingsize beds, two bathrooms - one with a tub in it! The livingroom had a sittingarea with TV and a lovely diningarea. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, dishwashermachine and washingmachine. The room also had a charming balcony.
The staff could have been more helpful as it came to giving information about the area. They did advise us to figure things out by ourself by using the internet in our room.

I hope to return one day, great value for money, great situated in the city and overall a nice apartment!
