Went out 18 nights while in Spain and this was the best restaurants we found. The sangria was to die for and the food was world class. Service was good and highly recommend reservations. Try the black beans they are unusual and delightful.

Tucked away down the back streets but easy to find with a smart phone and a bit of patience. We had not booked and had to wait about 45 minutes for a table which suited us fine as it gave us an opportunity to sample blackberry mojitos and huge vodka and tonics. All staff were very welcoming and friendly even though they were very busy and all bar space was full too. Excellent meal, great surroundings and a real buzz about the place. Well worth finding, this is a small restaurant with huge character. Our meal with 2 cocktails each, starters, main course and a glass of wine was 85 euros.

people who are put off by the walk to this restaurant are missing out on a gem. The walk from La Rambla is not through the prettiest streets you will ever see but the Cera 23 certainly is a sight for sore eyes.
The decor is superb,welcome fantastic and food to savour. We were greeted on arrival with a smile and quickly shown to our table even though we were early.Menus appeared promptly and wine order taken quickly.Food arrived reasonably quickly,certainly at a pace that suited us. Starters for the 4 of us were all quickly demolished,go for the rare beef and guacamole cold starter - superb. Then the mains all again superb ,even with one of our party not quite happy with the Tuna slightly undercooked for their liking but this was soon remedied by the staff. Super restaurant and a pleasure to have eaten there

Found this place with tripadvisor and what can I say : Staff was so kind and found a table for us even we didnt booked in advance.The menu was great and the food tasted excellent.
Must try Blacberry mojito ,the best !!!

Fantastic. Managed to get a table even though we didn't book, had a drink and waited 20 minutes.

Had roast beef (cold starter) and guacamole (thinly sliced rare beef perfectly seasoned).

Then duck, with blackberries and pears. Amazing and perfect combination.

Blackberry Mojitos lovely.

Service was great and well looked after.

Would recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona. It's not too far to walk from La Rambla.

I can understand why people are anxious of walking around at night down some of these dark back streets, but just take care and don't put yourself on show.

Would love to come back and eat here again. Our best meal so far, thank you Trip Advisor, we wouldn't have found it without you :-)
