The hotel has excellent acilities. The breakfast was lavish and with many varieites. We stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms given on the 1st one were very big may be we were given the suite by mistake. But the next night the rooms were smaller.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, 2 nights on our own and 3 nights on a Rick Steve's tour. We were able to check in early and that was greatly appreciated because we were so incredibly jet lagged after travelling from the US. The hotel is in an excellent location and we always felt safe and comfortable. Within walking distance of the Las Ramblas and many excellent restaurants, the metro and the gothic quarter. The breakfast buffet was the best that I ever had anywhere in Europe! You may even ask for eggs for breakfast cooked any way you wish! Clean rooms, friendly staff and again, excellent location! I hope to return one day when the Sagrada Familia has been completed! Enjoy!

We had a great stay, great location, its so close to everything. We found the staff to be especially helpful. They even went out of there way to help us secure some espanyol tickets for when we were having trouble.

We recently stayed at this hotel. We checked in early (9am) which was not a problem. Room was modern & clean, and have lovely products in the bathroom. Buffett breakfast was nice.
Hotel is in a great location - not far from the ramblas.
Hotel staff were friendly and even arranged a taxi for us to the airport. Cab arrived right out the front.

I usually stay around Passeig de gracia when visiting Barcelona but this time decided to stay in the heart of the Gothic and this hotel seemed OK. It does what it stays in the tin: is a good location, close to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas, is a bit difficult to find and at night can be difficult to find and a bit scary but it was fine. The rooms were small but clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was very nice and had lots of choice. You get more comfort in Passeig de Gracia for sure but this was a nice change.
