I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel in early July, 2012. The hotel is located in the Old town at Gothic Quarter. The room and bathoroon were very clean and comfortable. I had breakfast in the hotelfor 12.00 euros and it is worth it. It's alrge buffet with breads, fruits, juices, pastries etc. If you want eggs, just ask the waitress the kind you want. As for other NH hotels, free wifi only in the lobby. Location is great! near everything and in a quiet street at the same time. Very good option if you want to stay inside this amazing part of the city, full of people, restaurants and stores, but want some peace at night and sleep quietly. It's near the church Santa Maria Del Mar, which definetely deserves a visit: amazing gothic church, full of light, beautiful! If you want visit the interior of La sagrada familia (just amazing!!), get your ticket in the ATM machine of "La caixa" just across the entrance. It has the symbol of La sagrada familia on it. It's better than staying in line for a long time. Another good tip: you want to have great and cheap tapas, take the subway (line 3, green) to Poble Sec and walk down Carrer de Blai. You will find several tapas bars in a row, not made for tourists, more authentic stuff. We had pintxos (pinchos), which are tapas on a piece of bread "spiked" with a tookpick. You should save the tookpick because you pay later when the guy counts the number of tookpicks you have in your plate. Pintoxs are delicious in Taberna Blai Tonight for 1.00 euro each!

The hotel is based in the heart of the old town of Barcelona. A perfect locaton.
As most NH hotels, it is well and modernly designed.
We could not reach the hotel as it is located in a restricted zone. We asked for help but nobt own oody of the stuff was willing to help with the car nor with the luggage! Matress is old and need to be replaced Price was too high for a 3 star hotel.

Fantastic location for sight seeing. Very close to las ramblas and 2 min walk to catalonya square. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Free wi fi. Comfortable spacious rooms with very good shampoo and bathroom materials provided. Breakfast was very nice and worth it's value. The hotel is ideally located opposite a very cheap super Market for your food/ drink needs. Well worth a visit and great value hotel. For the price, you won't get a better hotel/ location.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and was quite satisfied. It is well located in the Gothic quarter which makes it ideal to explore this area. It is also very close to Las Ramblas, Placa Catalunya and the shopping centre. Plenty of places around to eat or to have a coffee and you could not ask for a better location.

The rooms are not very big but very well appointed and my king sized bed was fantastic. I had a non-smoking room and also had a little balcony that was very nice. Unfortunately I could hear all movements in the corridor quite clearly and this did not help in my attempt to sleep soundly. The tea and coffee maker was a big help too. The bathroom was quite tiny and not very well laid out, but it was clean and very well kept.

The staff at the reception were extremely helpful and ready to offer suggestions and advice when asked for. The breakfast was adequate with eggs made to order if you wanted and a fairly good selection of fruits and cold cuts, pastries, sausages, etc.

Room Tip: The rooms with a balcony are very nice

The hotel is modern and clean; housekeeping emasculate. No dust even under the bed. Bed and pillow were very very comfortable and we had great sleep. We thought hotel staff are professional and efficient. Very convenient for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. Quite near to make-up shop, KIKO where I bought good selection of nail varnish for my daughters for souvenir, better and cheaper than Sephora. Easy access to Ramblas, market, Place Catalynia and great tapas bar called Bilbao. We did not have breakfast as you can go other places for good and cheaper breakfast. There is also a small supermarket across the hotel where you can buy some drinks, ice cream or any other snack to eat in your hotel room. Convenient to catch bus or metro to get to bus station for going to airport, etc.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Definitely recommend to read Homage to Barcelona by Colin Toibin before you visit or when you are in Barcelona.

Room Tip: Higher floor for some views over Barcelona and not noisy being away from the street level.

This hotel is nicely placed for all the major sights of Barca. You can walk through the Gothic area to beaches or seconds away from Ramblas and shopping. Close to Placa Catalynia where airport shuttle is short walk - return fare is under 10euros.

Despite central location the hotel is quiet and if you ask for a centre facing room even more quiet!

We upgraded to superior room and got an extra cot to allow 3 adults to share -a little tight but managed 3 nights nicely.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, even at 4am! Free wifi througout the hotel is great but a little slow.

Rooms are bright and modern - clean.

Families welcome and I am sure you could fit a few extra kids in to the room without any hassles.

Room Tip: Centre facing for quiet - superior upgrade for 3 on room ( cot also possible)

This hotel is so close to Ramblas, yet away from the crowd and noise. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms are small but manageable. Staff are helpful. We arrived much before the check in time, yet were provided the room instantly. The breakfast spread is good. Some rooms have balcony. Very close to city bus and Aerobus terminals. Restaurant and shopping just 2 minutes away. enjoyed our stay.
