My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights. Our first room (#123) wasn't great - seemed more like a basement apartment as we were partly underground. The window was too high to even look out. About 2 days into our stay we were awoken by loud construction behind the wall in our room. We complained to the desk and the staffer kinda brushed it off and said "I'll look into it" and did nothing more. We were ok for another few days until 3 days later we were again woken by even louder drilling and hammering construction immediately adjacent to our room. When we complained again, the same hotel staffer just said "ok you want to change rooms?" He did not even offer an apology for the noise or inconvenience.
Our new room on the 4th floor was much better and even though we could still hear a bit of the construction, it was a lot better. Overall the rooms are a decent size, clean and most staff are friendly. Breakfast was good as well. It is an average hotel for the price, nothing spectacular. A bit of a sour taste from our experience with the construction and how the hotel handled it.More
