Great location and a superb hotel good breakfast included, air con super cool, staff friendly and pleasant, taxi available right outside on main street, about €35 to Barcelona airport one way. Beds very comfortable, powerful shower and bath, b'day ,hair dryer, flat screen TV with some English channels, safe in wardrobe, fridge with beer, fruit juice and water at shop prices and kettle, tea and coffee and nice spacious wardrobe.

Barcelona is an expensive place for accommodation. Bearing that in mind this hotel provides a basic experience in the room but on the positive side has an good included hot breakfast and is located in a very central location near Plaza Catalunya so handy for walking to tourist attractions. Room was small, typical for an older European hotel. The TV was really really old. Room clearly hadn't been renovated in many years.

Within walking distance to Catalunya Plaza, the Boqueria, Gotic Quarter and Eixample, it doesn't get any better than this in terms of location. Hotel is smaller than some of its neighbors, but that's perfectly fine with us. Rooms and beddings are comfortable and bathroom comes with amenities, nothing fancy but efficient. Our room was toward the back away from the street and offered a very quiet stay. Breakfast offers a good variety of spread, especially breads and baked goods, including a few hot food items; there's something for everyone. We will definitely be back at affordable prices.
