Clean big room. A bit expensive but booked last minute. Reception staff were great and friendly. Location isn't too bad but a bit of a walk to las ramblas (20 min?). Area felt safe and would recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay, a reasonably sized room on 3rd floor at the back overlooking a children's play area and flats, better than at the front on a very busy and noisy road. Breakfast is expensive now at 16E and better taken at one of the very good and numerous cafes in the area. We had dinner one night which was just about acceptable and again is 16E. It is quite a way north above Av. Diagonal so if you don't like walking you will need to use the Metro or local bus to get south to the harbour or Rambla. Whatever the hotel is like nothing can put us off Barcelona, one of the best cities in Europe.

Room Tip: Maybe better to ask for a room at the back if you don't sleep well with heavy traffic.

Stayed for 3 nights with a Riviera tour.
The room was clean and comfortable, a twin as arranged. There were no balconies or an outdoor area to sit, and only a small bar area, but there were plenty of cafés with outdoor tables nearby.
The breakfast was fine - plenty of choice and the restaurant in the evening provided a pleasant meal at a reasonable cost. The location was quiet yet convenient walking distance to many of the interesting places - so ideal for us.
The best feature of the hotel for me was the staff. Paula on reception was excellent - nothing was too much trouble, her expertise with the computer/printer ensured our Sagrada Familia tickets were printed efficiently and her English was excellent. Jamaul, who served both drinks and meals, was also absolutely brilliant. He worked hard, was welcoming, very efficient and professional, had an excellent manner with everyone, and made our stay very enjoyable. Would we return to this hotel? Yes, if I was sure the same staff would be there, they are invaluable. Otherwise, we would possibly return, but may look elsewhere for a balcony or terrace so as to have an outdoor area to sit in.

This hotel is in an excellent location in a very safe, upscale neighborhood of Barcelona. We enjoyed walking the city in all directions. The hotel is air conditioned and clean and the staff was very helpful. We used the computers in the lobby for a very long time and it was fine with the front desk staff. The wifi was free but the connections were difficult. We kept losing it and had to sign on all the time. We made the mistake of having the hotel do our laundry. It wasn't a great job and it cost more than $100.00 as they charged for each sock and each pair of underwear. The hotel was quiet. We did not have the breakfast as we were lucky to get a great price on priceline. The housekeepers did a nice job with special touches.

A very good base if staying in Barcelona. A modern hotel, with good facilities - 3 lifts; English speaking staff; pleasant restaurant and bright and airy bedrooms.
The bedrooms have adequate storage if staying for a few days; have air conditioning, a safe and mini bar - ideal for keeping drinks bought in the nearby shops cool. Bathroom is large with a bath and shower fitting.
Location of the hotel, very close to the Travessera Garcia, which leads down to Catalonia Square, is ideal for touring. There is a metro station just a few hundred yards away on the Av. Diagonal, and the stops for the Tourist Buses are close by. The famous Pedrera building, by Gaudi is also very close by.
We only used the hotel restaurant for breakfast, but the menus for lunch and dinner were varied and seemed reasonably priced. There are plenty of restaurants and Tapas Bars in the vacinity.
We would certainly use this hotel again if we visited the city in future.

Room Tip: Buy a Tourist Bus pack from the hotel which gives you a discount on the price yo pay on the bus. The...

I've stayed here a few times as my company uses it. Rooms are comfortable with all that is necessary. A small bar off reception is serviced by reception/hall staff and there is a restaurant offering a 'menu del Dia' for lunch and dinner. A good breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant. Rooms are air conditioned, with large TVs (no English speaking channels, though) and there is free WiFi throughout.
While not exactly in the centre of the city, the hotel is near to the Passeig de Gracia with the metro and bus stops. Taxis can readily be hailed in the street outside the hotel - the cost from the central placa Catalunya (where you get off the airport bus) is about 7 euros unless
you have luggage. It's possible to walk into the centre - the young and fit will probably do it in 20 mins or less. We ancient monuments take longer, but it can be done!
Apart from the hotel restaurant, reception will order from a hotel pizza service for you, or there are several bars / restaurants very near by. A new supermarket opened next to the hotel during my stay, and I found it a useful facility - very reasonable prices too. Just around the corner from the hotel is a salad bar where you can buy excellent take away boxes.

So, a clean, comfortable hotel, within reasonable reach of metro, buses and the tourist buses, with pleasant and efficient staff. Slightly less expensive than the more central hotels, this is a good base for a business trip or a holiday in this lovely city.

But my worries were completely unfounded, in fact we were really pleased with this place.
Our room was a really good size and perfectly clean and tidy ,
We found the breakfast, very good with loads of lovely fresh fruit and superb bread, cheese etc
Staff attentive friendly and helpfull, we would not hesitate to use this hotel again it's also in a good position.
