Stayed here for three nights before a Med cruise. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are not large, but the bathrooms are trimmed in elegant marble. The location couldn't have been better. A block's walk took us to the hop on hop off bus, which took us to all the sights in the city, including the awe-inspiring Gaudi church, the Sagrada Familia. The buffet breakfast was very good with a large selection of local meats and cheeses, fruits and pastries. The restaurant menu selection was limited, but tasty. The bar menu was smaller, but with delicious offerings and unusual cocktails. The concierge was very polite, patient and helpful. No question was too tedious for her. Her English was very good - better than her replacement at the end of our stay. Our Spanish is almost non-existent, but she had no trouble understanding and explaining. She referred us to two very good restaurants nearby and a wine shop where we could get bottles to take on the ship. The porters and chauffeurs that the hotel employs were helpful and knowledgeable. The outdoor rooftop lounge was a wonderful opportunity to get a panoramic view of Barcelona both day and night. I would recommend this for anyone spending time in Barcelona.

Booked two rooms. Got a great price. They service was wonderful. Loved the rooms. Couldn't believe how big they were. (For Europe) I think they were close to 400 sq. ft. Only stayed one night. I would stay there again. Got free Internet and breakfast with my package/price. Location is walking distance to most of the main attractions. Very small pool. looks almost like a square pond. lol!!! The only bad thing was the concierge recommend a terrible restaurant. Called Brown 22 or 33 Can't remember the number. I don't recommend that restaurant. Other than that it's a great place to stay.

Friendly staff, clean, modern reasonably sized rooms, and a very nice breakfast, this hotel is definitely a keeper! We especially like it's location close to the center of town and the tourist attractions, yet on a little less traveled and quieter street than most in the area. I would note that the A/C in the rooms will actually cool the rooms to American standards if given time after you enter room ( a/c doesn't run if you are not in the room). We have found this not always to be the case in European hotels.

Our family really loved staying at this hotel and would stay again if we return to Barcelona. We stayed here before embarking on a 7 night mediterranean cruise. The hotel is very modern in style (marble bathrooms, modern fixtures, etc). Note to the Americans - it is still a typical European design with small rooms, small elevators, etc. We needed two rooms for our family of 5 (2 adults and three kids under the age of 12) but that is very typical for Europe. It appears to be newly constructed. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The service was great. The breakfast buffet was terrific and had many hot and cold items to choose from. The location felt very safe and was within walking distance to some of the sites as well as some very high-end shopping (just one block away).

This hotel is in such a superb location. It is in walking distance to many attractions, Las Ramblas, and the Metro. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always. The room was very clean and we were given a room with a great view. The rooms are smaller than standard American hotel rooms, but I knew that going in and it fit our needs perfectly. It had a really comfortable bed and a great shower!! We stayed one night, and would recommend this hotel to anyone, and would stay here again!

This hotel was perfect for our 4 day stay in Barcelona. It was clean, trendy, great staff, and in a very good location. The price was reasonable as well. Make sure to grab a drink on the rooftop deck - the views are amazing!
