Great location but small tight spaces. No ice or refrigerator. Breakfast was nice but 19.6 euro. We ate at a local café for about 14 euro each (our breakfast may not have been as extensive). Beds were twins pushed together. Bathroom lacked shelves and storage space. There was no soap dish in shower so soap and shampoo went on floor.More

This is a perfect location for bottom of ramablas and the gothic area
As usual we took a taxi to the hotel the staff are really helpful rooms are really clean
I would go back here .. we did not have breakfast this time but it looked amazing ,

Really nice hotel in great location, close to everything. I would recommend it if you are staying in Barcelona only for couple nights and you won't spend a lot of time in hotel room. The room itself was big and bright, they joined two twin beds into king size but that didn't work so well. There were also couple small technical issues like really weak drainage and damaged gasket in the balcony door, probably that's why it was a bit loud even with door shut. You could also hear everything from the corridor because of this hudge gap at the bottom of room door, thin walls.
Those are just details and overall we really enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is fantastic! Fresh fruits, fresh juices, great pastries and cakes, really big choice of hot dishes.

You look..... you research.....you read reviews.....you do it some more.....then you pick and pay..... Don't get me wrong, the staff were all Great, very polite and helpful.
Unfortunately the hotel wasn't for us.
It was very basic.
A grand sewage smell greets you as you enter.
We upgraded for 25 euros a night to a superior balcony room.
God help those who stay in a normal room. They are very small.
Considering it was a back street....it was very noisy.
It's in a great central position and close to las rambla and the marina, a 20- 30 minute walk and your on the beach. Plenty of bars, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby. Near the metro too. Breakfast a bit expensive......cafe 5 doors away does great baguettes, croissants,cakes and drinks......really cheap.....
The room service was a bit poor. Our cups weren't cleaned or replaced, just wiped......i hope with a clean cloth......the tea stains were still there......so I sterilized with boiling water.....not good. Ensuite is nice.
I suppose for 2 nights, with no expectations it's good enough. Just a place to get your head down.....if your looking for a bit of luxury go elsewhere.

Basic hotel, based on room only (breakfast is available at 20 euros per head). Only disappointing thing about the room is no tea/coffee making facilities provided. Staff in hotel are incredibly helpful. Would recommended this hotel based on its location as easy to walk to gothic quarter, marina, la rambla and Catalonia plaza.

If you are travelling to Barcelona to spend time in your hotel room...firstly...whatttt??? secondly...probably look elsewhere, but as a base for an action packed sight seeing holiday & evenings out in the many quirky bars & nearby restaurants, this hotel is PERFECT!
The location really is ideal! It’s a 5 min walk so many of the sights; Las Ramblas, the cathedral, the harbour, El Born, the beach... & bus & metro stops very close! Surrounded by quirky cocktail bars & lovely restaurants in Gothic Quarter which comes alive at night!
Our room (312) was compact but had everything we needed for our stay! The bed was super comfy & the shower was super powerful. Room was cleaned every day with fresh & lovely thick towels. Kettle in the room with fresh bottle of water every day too. We didn’t get breakfast as we prefer to get out & about in the morning & get a coffee & croissant in a local patisserie, but it looked like a good spread!
To top of a perfect trip, without any special request the hotel arranged for a complimentary bottle of cava & bday cake for our return after a day out on my partners bday! Completely unexpected & a lovely touch!
Would 100% recommend this hotel & we will stay again when we return to Barcelona.
