As a plus:
If you drive from abroad this is the ideal place for you. Everybody knows what can happen if you leave a foreign number plate car in the street. This hotel has an inside parking with large access (very hard to find in Barcelona), so you can sleep worry free.
We had a triple room which was large, modern and very clean. The flat screen tv offered lots of channels with few in English. The air conditioning worked well and made the difference. The bathroom was spacious and shiny but it had only a shower(no bathtub!), a bit unusual for a four star hotel.
As a minus:
At the reception was different. Nice staff, decent English but only one person at he desk sometimes. I had to wait 15 minutes for a question.
The wi-fi is outrageously expensive!
Thin walls, so late noisy guests can wake you up in the middle of the night.
Overall:
Location is great. Tube at the end of the street, supermarket across the road, quiet and pleasant area. Overall a nice place especially if you have a car to take care of.

We stayed 4 days at this hotel during our first visit to Barcelona. It is quite a modern hotel with usual facilities in the room including the essential safe for keeping your valuables. Breakfast has quite good variety and the food was really quite good. The wireless internet is quite expensive but guests are allowed a free 15mins on their own wired PC so it is OK if you just want to keep in touch and tell friends you have arrived safely. There are also quite a bit of facilities nearby including a supermarket which sells 5 litres of distilled water for about $1, essential in the summer heat. The hotel is very near a subway station which is one of the best features of this otherwise average hotel.

The downside of this hotel is that it is on the city ring road so you can hear the road noise from any room except the ground or lower floors. I requested to change room due to noise but they simply changed me to another room facing the other side of the traffic. The service staff was not very helpful with car parking and advised us that we have to pay for hotel car park despite the fact that it is free parking opposite the hotel.

We read the reviews here before departing, our expectations weren't high. The rooms are now newly renovated in a modern black and white style which exceeded our expectations. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area which is around 20 minutes from central barcelona which is just right for us because we like quiet and spacious areas. The hotel is clean and breakfast was standard hotel choices. Service could have been better as we had to ask for things like breakfast location and time.

We arrived at this hotel at 1am around the start if April and stayed for five nighrs. Check in was easy and straight forward with no problems.

Our room was a decent size but very hot on arrival so switched on the air con, which only blew out even hotter air. On querying this I was told the whole hotels air con didn't work. Not a huge problem in April when it was relatively cool but would hate to stay here in the summer!! The guy on the desk did not speak great English (none of them appeared to) and was not much help.

The room was slightly grubby with plaster peeling in the ceiling but for the price we paid was ok but I felt this was a long way off from a 4 star!!

I think the reason this hotel is reasonably priced is because of its location. It is a good but out from the city centre. This was not a problem for us as it was just 500 yards from a Metro station.

I have copied the following bit from someone elses review as the description is spot on -

'Travel to and from the airport is easy and cheap if you take the train, takes around 40 minutes. Take the train to Placias de Gracia and then change over to the L3 line to Mundet. The same metro ticket is valid for the whole travel. Take care that you dont exit the metro station while trying to locate the metro lines during the change.
Exit the Mundet metro station on the left hand side (when the platform is behind you) and then turn right after the ramp. The hotel is at the end of the road on the right hand side.'

I would say it take about an hour though, not 40 minutes.

The food at the hotel is pretty good too which we weren't expecting and a fair price.

Turn left at the hotels door as you exit and you will see a large white appartment block. Within the centre of this you will find a large supermarket which stocks everything you need and is pretty cheap. Also, there is a Cafe a bit up from the supermarket in the same square which sells cheap things for breakfast and the people there are very friendly.

The hotel seems to be in a nice enough location and '3 stars' seems to be a much fairer rating than the four they claim to have.

Stayed there for 3 days while on holiday in Barcelona. Room was spacious and clean. Thats d only good point bout the hotel. Its near metro, but situated very far from the city centre. Staffs weren't friendly. Probaby because I cant speak spanish? Im a frequent traveler and I noticed that Spanish in general are not friendly. There's no water boiler in the room. When I requested one from the front desk, the ask me to go to the restaurant. The guy at the restaurant was rude. He said something in Spanish (i doubt he can speak English) and went serving his other customers. We waiting for awhile until I got fedup and leave. The hotel claimed that they provide free wi-fi. But its only for 15 minutes and the speed is super slow. I wouldn't stay there again.
