This was a free attraction up until apparently 4 months ago, we traveled there not realising they now charged. The price was 8 euros and on principle we decided not to pay. We were able to see most of it without going in and other people who had paid said it really was not good value for money. I thought Gaudi had created this as a public place for the people to use not a money spinner for Barcelona city council! Even if you did pay to go many people were in and out in approx 30 minutes and were told that there was not re entry.

When in Barcelona this is something you must see. Truly spectacular place with so a flair that isn't found in any museum. Around noon it is very full.
Views from Park Guell are great.

This is another attraction that is a must on a Barcelona visit. Access is easy via the Red Route tourist bus but taxis are also easy and inexpensive. Access to the park itself is free!!. Walking round and seeing all the sculptures and features makes me wonder if Gaudi was on drugs - they are so diverse and free formed. Don't fall for the tourist trick of just walking to to the first terrace - the views are good but there are better. If you feel fit - walk up to the very top - there is a lot to see on the way and the views of Barcelona from the top are superb

From a walking tour in Barcelona, we took a taxi to the Park. Park Guell was a very interesting eclectic place that Gaudi put together. It reminds you of Gingerbread houses at first. But, the views from high on the hills are spectacular. It was one of our favorite Gaudi designed places we visited in Barcelona. Many of the buildings appear as if they came out of a fairy tale book.
