We had a two weeks March vacation in Barcelona at 08028 Apartments and were very pleased with the hotel. This is not a luxury Sheraton hotel for rich tourists nor an extremely cheap hostel for youngsters looking for places to chill all night long. But for us it was very good. Reception personnel was friendly and helpful.
Nice neighbourhood with ordinary Barcelona residents living normal life with kids and older people too.
Metro station stairs (line L3 Les Courts) are 50 meters from hotel and walking distance to Camp Nou is 500 meters if you are interested in football.
We made morning breakfasts in our own kitchen and found nice and reasonably priced tapas bars nearby.
Visited five(!) Gaudi buildings during our stay. Quite pricey but definitely worth of it.
Buy a ten trip metro card from metro automates and you can use also bus, tram and train by 1?/trip. Public transportation is great in Barcelona too.
I did not get robbed by pickpockets near Camp Nou (big game Barca-Manchester City) although it was very near :)
Wifi was not very strong in our room, third floor, but worked best in the kitchen.More
