Description: New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

Walked in for a late lunch. Had to wait 10 minutes for a table. The service was very friendly but a bit slow
Food was exceptional! Everything we ate was SO good especially the salmon and the tuna Pepitas. The marvellous gin and tonics live up to their name! If you are wondering what La Pepita means it means "yummy little sandwich"!

“A lovely authentic place”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

We just stumbled across this place while biking aroud in Barcelona. It was filled with locals which usually is a very good sign.
We ordered a few tapas dishes that sounded interesting. The aubergine/goat cheese dish vas so amazing, we actually had to order another one on the spot.

The drinks were good as well, and if you like Gin & Tonic you have definitely come to the right place.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

This place has a great vibe, the food matches the atmosphere. You are treated like a long lost friend the team make you very welcome. The menu is unusual but interesting. Tapas to start followed by their special main course options. We enjoyed it so much we returned two days later. We shall return if we are in Barcelona again.

“Amazing”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

We loved this tapas place. Arrived early (Barcelona-wise) with 7:30 reservations. We were not the only ones there and by 8:00pm, most tables were full.

We had the marinated sea bass/strawberry/spinach/pesto, special anchovies, and cow-cured ham for our tapas. All were incredible, but the sea bass was a melting pot of flavors and textures. We each had a pepita; small sandwich. Very good, but we should have tried three more tapas dishes. Dessert; we were sad that they were out of the popcorn ice cream. The chocolate/olive combo was better than expected.

Service was amazing, as was the vibe of the place. Owner was helping everywhere and stopped by to ensure that all was well. Highly recommend!
