I had an amazing time in Barcelona at this hotel. Activities are organised nearly every night and the staff could not be more helpful. Rooms were clean, the location was great, my room was really quiet. There were plenty of computers as well. Cannot recommend it enough for a solo traveler.

Me and my friend stayed here for 3 nights and we liked the hostel a lot. Staff were very friendly and helpful (Juancho, Tinch, Nacho ;)). Location is brilliant, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, internet is good... You can find hair dryer in each bathroom. They don't offer breakfast, but there is a free coffee and tea. There is also a table tennis and table football in the bar.

We are definitely coming back!

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms are better because you can't hear the bar.

Me and 7 of my friends stayed here for 2 nights. the rooms where nice, all washrooms and showers are public but are mostly clean. They have free wifi and also have 10 computers for those who dont have laptops and the internets quite good. They also have their own bar and a TV room.

Will stay there when i go back...

Two friends and I stayed here for 5 nights a few weeks ago and we were a bit worried because we had never stayed in a hostel before. We were so happy with this one. The rooms were a decent size and very clean. Our room mate was easy to get on with. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the French guy with the braids. The bar/night club area is a brilliant touch. You can bring your own alcohol down into the bar and drink/pre drink with friends before heading to a club with good music playing.

The cooking amenities are fantastic and internet access is brilliant. Very central location too. Takes maybe 8 minutes to walk to Plaza Cataluna and there's a supermarket called OpenCor just around the corner, 2 minute walk, which is open until the early hours of the morning.

If I was to go back to Barcelona, i would definitely choose to stay here! Very happy!

Room Tip: Try not to get the room beside the nightclub. Ask for one on the upper level.

I went to Barcelona with female friends - there were three of us for 5 nights, then another friend joined us for 3 nights. We had originally booked to stay in a 4 bed dorm in this hostel for all 8 nights but ended up staying just one.

On arrival, we were told we couldn't all be in a room together for the first night. My friend and I were alarmed to see that our room had a big window that looked out into the laundry room. The machines were on throughout the night. Our room mates were two girls - one who brought a random guy back and had very loud sex with him in the shower and the other who was so drunk she got into bed with my friend in the early hours of the morning. The random guy being allowed in raised serious questions about the hostel's security. Our other friend had far more considerate room mates but couldn't sleep due to the traffic noise.

The next morning we discovered that the remainder of our stay would be in the dorm next to the laundry room and asked if we'd lose any money if we left. We were told we wouldn't so booked alternative accommodation for the remaining seven nights. The member of staff then told us that his boss had just told him we may be charged for the following two nights. This was later deducted from my friend's card.

All in all, not the best start to our Barcelona break.
