First time in Barcelona, aerobus is really easy to get to pl da catalunya. From there its a bit tricky to find the street St Pere the first time, but its only a short easy walk from Pl da Catalunya to the hotel. You can catch the red line metro but the hassle to lug your bags down and then up the stairs again is much more effort than the walk.
The hotel felt more like a back packers hotel and is very dated. Its pretty much a small room and thats all. (The photos shown on their website must have been taken when it was new) .We stayed in a quad room and there is only single beds (there is no bouble bed) with matrasses that should have been changed long ago. It was however clean, the shower was big enough. The safe worked, the aircon worked, the cupboard was ok. You get a kettle and only flavoured tea. There is no coffee available. (there is a reastuarant down stairs attached to the hotel that makes good coffee for Euro 1.50. Breakfast is simple but more than enough. The staff in the restaurant were not the most helpfull especially if you sat at the chairs on the pavement as the restaurant is very hot without aircon.
The hotel has working elevators so you dont have to carry luggage up and down stairs. We arrived early and our rooms werent available, but they did store our luggage until our rooms were ready. Reception staff are very helpfull in giving directions etc and all spoke fairly good English. Now that i know Barcelona a bit better, I would maybe look for a slightly better hotel next time.
