Very small room and dirty, airco didn’t work. The room is so small that TV has to be placed above the high wardrobe, you can’t even see the total TV. Night lamp was also broken. At least the staffs all friendly

Room tip: Never again the same hotel

We stayed in one of the apartments for a night and it was very pleasant. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Had the basic amenities such as coffee, iron plus a washing machine. The receptionist, Raul was very friendly and recommended places for us to eat. Would stay again if we visit Barcelona again.

Visited 30thJune-July 4th. We stayed as a group of 4 adults in Apartment A (attic). This is located in a block directly opposite the main building with the reception.
The hotel is located in La Sagrera and the nearest stop is less than a 5 minute walk.
Area and surrounding: beautiful clean streets and local cafes. Locals were all friendly and we had breakfast in nearby bakeries. It is quite a noisy area (dogs barking early hours, sirens and alarms) but it is a city so can’t complain about some noise.
Check in: we had a taxi from the airport which cost €35. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and had excellent English. Be aware there is a €300 deposit to be paid + city tax. And also €20 deposit for tv remote(only English Channel is Disney, DVD player in room).
Room: the room had two double bedrooms, one with en suite. A main bathroom with shower and bath. A living room with sofa bed and full kitchen.
The room was spacious but lacking on cleanliness. The shower heads were thick with black limescale, shelves full of dust. The pillows had sweat stains and didn’t smell fresh. These are my only complaints
Towels/bedding doesn’t get changed at all. There is a washer dryer if needed, and be aware there is no safe.
There’s a lovely balcony with table and chairs but no view.
We had to ask for extra bin liners during the stay.
Check out: before checking out you have to make sure all your dishes are washed and put away, bins are taken out to the street main bins, and everything is tidy. quick and easy check out, receptionist called us a taxi to airport, this one cost us 45€. Our €300 deposit took 72hours to be refunded to bank.
Will probably stay again if in Barcelona, just really hope it’s cleaner as that the only big downfall!
Thank you Hotel Laumon.

Room was small, but clean and quiet. Breakfast is poor for the price of 8€ p. person. We went to Aromes Cafeteria in a parallel street (open Monday to Saturday). They have really good coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. The center is about 30 minutes by metro away.

The Hotel Laumon is located in La Sagrera which is a not so touristic part of Barcelona. You will find here more the locals. The Metro is close and you will be there by walk within 3-5min.
The hotel is small but modern. The prices are reasonable. The rooms are small as well but sufficient and all was really clean.

The only points we don’t like was the reception and the breakfast. Most of the receptionist was really unfriendly and especially one person was even not polite and almost cheeky. This should not happen even in this hotel category.
The second point was the breakfast, we know 8€ isn’t a lot however the food should always be fresh. For example the eggs and the butter wasn‘t fresh and they are not using any cooling system for the cheese and the ham. At the public places around you will find a lot of nice cafes where you get breakfast with a much better quality for the same or less price...

So far the it wasn’t worst but not the best place...
