I was so excited that I got the reservation and got to try this place. I thought the reservation wasn't super hard compared to some of the restaurants in NY, you just have to plan 2 months in advance. As for the food, we let our waiter choose for us, and it was a good pace, we got to try all the well known dishes, olives, air pillows, oysters, razor clams, I think we had a total of at least 15-20 dishes, and the dessert was fun too. We had very service and our waiter was extremely friendly. But I wasn't blown away. Maybe it's because we just came from San Sebastian the land of deliciousness and also ate at Mugaritz and Martin Merasategui. Maybe I was expecting more, but definitely worth a try.

The biggest struggle here is, as anyone who has tried knows, getting a reservation. Reservations open up at midnight Barcelona time two months in advance, but good luck getting through then, as the website virtually crashes every night at that time. My tip? Don't be afraid to check back a couple of hours later. I managed to get not one but TWO reservations for the same night around 3 AM Barcelona time, after people had presumably given up (I ended up cancelling the later one).

Don't expect a fine dining ambience, or even a normal table. Parties of two seemed to frequently be sat at one of the food bars, where the food is prepared. The food itself is fun and interactive, but keep in mind that many of the "units" are too small to share, and have to be eaten individually. A tasting menu is offered for a minimum of 100 Euros per person, but it's also possible to just pick out some things you want from the menu on your own. If you have the chance, go and enjoy!

We had to book it a month in advance, so the excitement riding high. In short, the place is just amazing. Service polished to perfection, not obtrusive but present at any moment, the tapas are just a state of art. Prepare to spend at least 100 USD a head, drinks excluded.. Will try to book again when on stopover in Barcelona.

We certainly enjoyed the Tickets dinning Experience, this ranks as one of our most enjoyable dinning experiences. We had minimal knowledge of the establishment and intentionally didn't undertake any research, we were told it was a "must do and to try it".
It was more casual than we expected and we were surprised that the non-cushioned steel chairs kept us in comfort for the 20 plus tapas courses. The smellier matched the wines and kept it all flowing for each tapas selection. We had the "Tickets Experience". We just sat back and indulged, nearly 5 hours positioned at a waiters station with a prominent view of the kitchen plus deserts next door. The taste sensations ranged from simple Espanol through to creative techo science craftsmanship. Brilliant, thank you and we'll done for educating, entertaining us in such a professional, friendly manner and completing our visit to Barcelona.
