“what an amazing experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2012

Ticket’s is the place to eat in Barcelona. The food was amazing and like nothing I had eaten before. Eat dish is like a little piece of art. The service was outstanding and the waiter made great suggestions about other dishes we should try. It was great value, we tried so many dishes and the prices were so reasonable considering the high quality of the food.

“outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

We didn't had a reservation so as I read in earlier reviews we went at Tickets at 6.30 pm to stand in line. The first day (Monday) it was closed. Tuesday we were first in line and by 7 pm there stood a line of 20 people. It wasn't possible to get in that day so we gave it a last try on Wednesday. We were there at 6.20 pm and were third in line! At 7 pm we were very pleased to hear that the first 8 could get in. Our expectations were not dissappointed. The food was exceptional at a reasonable price. All the reviews aren't exaggerated. It was worth the wait and one of our highlights of our Barcelona trip!

“Perfection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

Service was outstanding, every dish a masterpiece of vision, taste, science and smell. It lives up to and exceeds the expectations.

The reviewer who moaned about the value for money must live in a strange world. We thought the prices were ridiculously low. That was part of the surprise.

“Really great meal, you must experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

We booked well in advance and were really excited as we ate at El Bulli 6 years earlier, we were even more excited when Ferran Adria turned up at the restaurant to have a drink with friends which brought smiles to our already over-excited child like faces! The food was incredible, we went against the waiters suggestion and chose our own, everything was just really special and what i love is that you simply cannot recreate this type of meal at home. We started with the olives which immediately whisked us back to our El Bulli experience and every mouthful thereafter was incredible. I could have probably done without the tomato cones and when we asked the chef if we had missed any dishes that he could recommend we had the prawns which although delicious they were virtually raw and should have had them in the middle of our meal rather than just before dessert! People did turn up on the night and were easily able to get seats so worth a try. The one negative thing that i can say is that i informed the waiter of a severe peanut allergy at the beginning of the meal yet the lava cake which i chose for dessert was topped with caramelised peanuts, i only knew because my husband tasted the cake but the waiter, whether it was because of limited English vocabulary was a little dismissive, he did apologise but i didn't feel that he understood that i would have to go to hospital, he seemed a little 'well iit's lucky that you didn't eat it really'. Even though we had an amazing meal we just left feeling a bit upset that our night could have been ruined so easily because it was only the waiter that took note of the allergy and it hadn't been written down anywhere. Oh, if it's raining don't leave your umbrella by the door, ours was taken!

“omg!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

What can you say about this experience!! It is totally indescribable. You must be online at "midnight in spain" to get your reservation. It is totally worth it. Have your waiter pick your dishes and just go for it!! Albert was there when we dined and he was incredibly humble and gracious. Showed us around the other "baby" 41deg and spoke to us at length. These brothers are doing something with food that is extraordinary. This is a must experience. Try to sit at the bar and watch the staff prepair the food while you eat yours. We have eaten at many of the top restaurants including el celler de can roca, and this was by far the most incredible expericence!
