“Great value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

I stayed in this hotel just a few days ago and was impressed. Room 303 was basic though spacious and modern, which met our needs. There is a metro station (Clot) just two minutes down the road, a supermarket next door and a laundromat a few shops away. There was a lot of variety at breakfast and the reception was very friendly and accommodating. The only slight downside is the distance from the city though with the metro stop close by it's not really a problem.

Tip: buy the t-10 ticket which costs 10€. This allows ten train trips so it is well worth it!

Really good hotel in a great location.

10 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia and lots of restaurants. Go to the tapas restaurant recommended by the hotel!

Rooms are small but modern and clean. Breakfast is extra but is nice so is worth it.

A fantastic stay, I was very impressed to find such a high quality hotel for a reasonable price in this location. Can't recommend enough.

If you're looking for a neat and clean hotel not too far from downtown Barcelona, the Acta Ink 606 is the place. It is reasonably priced, well staffed and maintained. The neighborhood is attractive with eating and shopping facilities either next door or a short walk away.
Not too far away are churches and museums that are tourist's favorites. La Rambla is a short taxi or bus ride away. Enjoy!

We are just back from our 3rd or 4th visit to Acta Ink 606, we always stay there when in Barcelona because it is so convenient to the autoroute from the north, the car can be parked safely, transport links into the city are so close and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

We had originally booked for 2 nights and had a very spacious room and quiet room on the 6th floor. We decided to stay a third night but the hotel was full and could only offer us a far inferior room on the second floor for that night. So although I would always recommend the hotel, I would definitely not recommend room 206! It is a small room with an awkward shape and it is impossible to reach the curtains without clambering up on a chair then on a type of platform, The platform area is situated directly over the steps from the dining room to the outside terrace, so the early morning lie in is interrupted by the breakfasters clomping up and down the wooden steps. To be fair, the receptionist had told me the room would be smaller but not that it would be so noisy and awkward. But as a last minute option it still suited us better than relocating.

A final comment - breakfast is good with excellent coffee but I would really appreciate more fresh fruit being offered rather than the tinned fruit. In a country with availability of all types of fruit, surely this could be included?

Room Tip: Avoid room 206!

We just got back from Barcelona yesterday. We stayed for 9 nights at Acta Ink 606 hotel. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely small hotel. The hotel is conveniently located about 2-3 minute walk from the metro station "Clot" it is also located about a 4 minute walk from the Clot train station which can take you directly to the airport using a T-10 metro/bus/train card (costs about 10 euros for 10 individual tickets), you only need a single T-10 ticket for the train ! once you take the metro you can get to the main sites in under 10-15 minutes thus paying much more for a hotel in the Las Ramblas district is not worth it. We decided to have breakfast at the hotel every day for a low sum of 7 euros; there was plenty to eat during breakfast and the staff provided excellent service (thank you Ana !). Our room was situated on the eight floor where we had a nice view of the Agbar tower. Our room was very clean and the shower was also quite good. WiFI in our room was amazing and was one of the best speeds we have seen in any hotel we have stayed at. We were able to surf the internet and watch movies on our ipads without any problem. Once finished we locked away everything in the large safe in our room. The hotel also has a nice terrase and solarium on the ninth floor (roof-top). On the terrace you can see the Sagrada Familia church and the hills with the church on the Tibidabo hill (not to be missed). On two occasions we bought pizza from a local shop on Valencia avenue (2-3 minutes away) and some wine and ate up on the terrace level of the hotel; it was fantastic. Like others have said the Sagrada Familia church is only 10-15 minutes away if you walk at a leisurely pace. The room cleaning service was also excellent (on most occasions our room was already cleaned before noon). Finally the front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, thank you Roberta and others ! As my review title says this is the best hotel with a very high value for your money. If you want a large lavish lobby, a fancy pool etc. then be prepared to pay 250-300 dollars per night otherwise if you want a nice small hotel, with very nice clean rooms and friendly staff and excelent location then Acta Ink 606 is the hotel to book for your trip !

Room Tip: Select a room on the higher floors for a good view.

The hotel was clean, but the rooms were crowded. The bed for the 3rd person in our room wasn't even a real bed, it was like a couch laid flat with sheets. The location is a 15 minute walk from La Sagrada Familia, but it is far away from everything else. Not within walking distance of very much. The staff were wonderful, but we probably wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed here for four nights in June. It is located more in suburbs which we expected anyway. The hotel has excellent transport links; it is located 5 minutes away from the train which runs direct to the airport and the metro too. The room we stayed was very good, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The safe is big enough for a 13" laptop plus more. We stayed in a superior double which gave us an excellent terrace with sun loungers. The wi-fi was excellent, fast and free. Reception was always polite and helpful. We would defiantly stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 803 which is a superior double. Very spacious with big bed, terrace and sun lounge...
