“Wandering in Barcelona”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Nice, cozy and great atmosphere, we stopped there after a morning of walking around in Barcelona, we could eat and drink nicely. The owner was very accommodating, made some great suggestion and we really enjoyed ourselves.

“Marevellous place, great food, if a bit slow and rude!”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

This is a tiny little restaurant, beautiful decor, cosy, real lilies on each table, just fabulour to be here! The medu of the day is hung on the wall in many bits of paper, very innovative if a bit impractical for a tiny place, as you are only allowed to sit down after chosing your food, and that makes it difficult in this cramped place. In spite of the limited number of guests, the lady forgot who placed orders first and was getting agitated with some customers who had stopped momentarily to look where to sit. We wondered if tourists were really welcome here, but the food was amazing, freshly cooked home food, smaller portions. It's just next to the Palau de Musica so a great place to eat before heading to theatre. My dress nearly tore when the guy on the next table moved his bag or coat, but we loved this place in spite of the negatives.

“Tapas Perfecta!!”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

A visit to the Palau de La Musica Catalana is the perfect reason to eat here. Small, snug, petite….lots of descriptive phrases, but the place oozes Barcelona charm. The dishes are prepared with love, the staff are professional and efficient. We ate had lunch one day, and dinner the next, mixing with students from Sydney on one occasion. It's a "must" place to eat as you explore this beautiful City.

“The essence of barcelona and Tapas”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

The place is tiny compared to most places but as small just as original!!! It is situated around the corner from the Palau de la Musica Catalana which is a center of culture.
The food is great, not typical tapas, which makes it even more unique.
ALL, I mean ALL staff are polite and friendly. We went there 3 times in 5 days.
Even the American people (8 of them) loved it!!!
Interior of the place is amazing!
Verdict: If you like something different, not the mainstream crap, have time to chill, happy to wait if full, you MUST try this place!!!
Even keeping in touch with the bar staff after my holiday. ;-)

“Best experience of Barcelona at night... ”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

If you are lucky you might get a table in this small tapas place. My partner and I arrived there late afternoon for a quick drink. My partner was bit reserved to start with as the palce was very small and had flowers on the tables. Nevertheless I ordered a glass of wine and my partner was explained in perfect English that his vodka can be served with any other mixer but coke . We knew we were in the right place! After initial couple of drinks we decided to order some food ... we both agreed it was the best place we gone to in Barcelona. Although, you might be asked to come back later the palce if fully booked it is worth trying. Great food, friendly service!
