“Good price, great big room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

Stayed in a room for four people, it was huge. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was big. Breakfast was good. Located in one of the main streets, easy to get to the subway or bus system, cash machines, and price was good. Staff was helpfull in giving directions.

My friends and I spent 10 days in Barcelona in September 2012. We were 11 people. The Hostel is great. Nice rooms and beds for everyone of us, filling breakfast and hospitality staff. We rented two cars for 4 days. There's an underground parking near the hostel (about 30 meters). Good location near the "Diagonal" metro station and a bus stop.

I came for a one week vacation in Barcelona and found an amazing hostel with amazing hospitality. The people who run the place are great and all they care about is how to make your stay as good as possible. The location is perfect and I really felt like home. Not so expensive and I met a lot of young and cool people from all over the world! Also the rooms are pretty nice and clean and on the first floor you have a huge and equipped kitchen where you can make your own food.

I arrived at the hostel with my wife, and I realized how correct recommendations here on the site. The location is wonderful, right on the Metro Diagonal, on Passeig de Gracia, And a minute walk -to the Cassa's of Gaudi . The Kitchen is grate, I love to cook food, and for me, it was an experience to buy fresh products from the market in two minutes from the hostel and cook them in the hostel with friends we met there. The team war great, we had a lot of recommendations on good restaurants we never get there .. Well, only local know the best place to go ...
We felt the staff really host us in every sense of the word.
I have no doubt, we will return again in the summer with our kids!
¡Muchas gracias

The staff here are extremely helpful and are from all over the world, which really makes the stay more interesting as they are happy to chat and give you their opinion on the city. The rooms were great, clean, spacious enough in the 6 bed rooms and had its own bathroom as multiple other bathrooms and facilities. The 1st floor is where the magic happens, every night a different event if you fancy it, an amazingly clean kitchen that is separate from the other common area but you can see into it which is perfect. Overall a wonderful building to stay in and if your sociable this is the place to be! Cheers!

Room Tip: Room 101 is next to extra shower rooms FTW.

My partner and I stayed here in September '12. The location was brilliant, and we found it easily after we arrived from Girona.

We stayed in a double with ensuite which faced onto Passeig de Gracia. It was immaculately furnished and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was much appreciated as it was quite warm and sticky in Barcelona. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, and we liked sitting out in the courtyard each morning.

A couple of things, however, marred what would have been a perfect stay. Firstly, we were kept waiting to check in. Admittedly, we had a arrived a little before the stated check-in time. However, when the allotted time came, we were still kept waiting for nearly another hour with the reception staff continually telling us it would be 'soon'. We were keen to make a bike tour that afternoon, so the delays were annoying.

Secondly, we discovered we needed to pay extra for towels. I appreciate this is a hostel, but when in a private room paying more than 90 euros a night, I didn't think it was too much to expect towels to be included. Or for this to be brought to our attention before we went to have showers!

The staff was very polite and friendly. The hostel is located on Passeig de Gracia, a street that has many designer shops, cool stores, restaurants with cuisine from all around the world and close to the subway, to Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas and other attractions walking distance. I stayed in a single room and felt like a hotel. It was super comfortable and the shower very good. My friends were in a shared room that I thought was great and the bathroom was inside the room. The decor is modern and cute. Really loved it, I'm already recommending to my friends and would surely go back here.

Room Tip: Single room é ótimo!
